I was wandering if you have an explanation concerning the fact that in the Matrix movie, the scene in the endless corridor. everything is set to fit with that checker crop circle warp zone. there are doors, perspective but no checker. it would've been the perfect place to set the checker because it is a warp zone. to me it prooves that there is a lack in the synchro myst.

Here's one of my central problems with synchromysticism. The circle, the triangle, the square, the pentagon, the hexagon and the octagon have all been identified with esoteric meaning in synchromysticism. Unfortunately, these objects are also among the simplest and most ubiquitous shapes in nature and geometry. Any architect, any mathematician, poster artist or set designer, is likely to produce these forms over and over. It's all coincidence, not conspiracy.

Synchromystics take pretty much every event and try to find some secret meaning. It's ludicrous! If there's any water whatsoever, it represents a star gate or the Nile. If there is a scene outdoors with a sun shot, it's a sign of sun worship. And on and on.

My challenge to you: Try to shoot a 2 hour movie that didn't have at least 10 references that synchromystics could twist as having some secret meaning.

@charonelli im under the impression that synchromysticism suggests that all these synchronicities are beyond conscious human effort. that it is divine in nature if you will, the collective consciousness speaking to us through reoccuring symbols and themes, etc. i think a lot of the symbolism is used on purpose. hollywood is a ritual magick cult after all ;-)

I would like to see a relationship to Babylon in this thread. The new Paramount movie "Stardust" talks of a "Babylon candle" (or is it babalon?). Crowley names a babalon as a woman in "The Book of Law".
