I think these bees are the reason why there are zombies running around. That's the only explaination. Maybe the bees are controling the zombies. That's probably why they died when Frank killed it.
no dammit your wrong the bees are a weapon because in the game thats your first weapon and when you smash it to the ground it spreds out this kind of thing that seeps into the zombie making then blow there head off or making then pop out a worm or a glowing worm.............

The "Queen Bee" is one of the better "Crowd Control" weapon as EVERY zombie withing 5 meters of you died when you use one.
