Alter Bridge is a very great band that will be in the history of rock...Myles Kennedy is a awsome singer like Scott Stapp...and Creed were great too when they were all togheter...for me they're all great rock musicians that will be all togheter in the history of rock music...

And although Alterbridge's creation was prior to Creed's breakup, no albums were released until Myles joined and completed the band. Music may have been layed out, but no complete. Just saying...
I don't agree with that. Mark didn't leave to enter Alter Bridge. He is the one who initiated the group because Stapp was a crap, not sure now. Stapp has many fans turned down when they knew his personality. For me, Stapp is one of my best vocalists and even writer, but to be admired as a person, nah I was disgusted and disappointed when I read about him and what he did even on that live show and that sex video with kid rock. alter bridge music is better then creed. I loved creed but love alter bridge more. Myles has way better voice then stapp. Yeah they will never be as popular as creed but Alter Bridge is real rock compared to creed. Plus AB lyrics are way better then creed.

nah.. myles had a band before and they are not that famous. musicaly and lyricaly they cant write good songs. when the 3 guys from creed came along and made him their front man thats when they made beautiful music. the entire first album of alter bridge was written by mark tremonti. music and lyrics was made by mark tremonti. technically he just sang marks song.
i guess after those years singing, touring he developed & evolved as a good musician and made their 2nd album blackbird in which he plays guitar also. i like blackbird a lot but its underated. & also you cant compare scott and myles they are so different in many ways and i like them both. scott's solo album is also good cant help the lyrics is so true and meaningful its coming from the soul. cant wait for his 2nd album to release. i wish both scott and alter bridge to continue making good music

1: Scott finds an amazing band that has just as much talent as the musicians in creed (possible)
2: Alter Bridge Finds a Singer that is much more talented than their singer now ( not hard) but that is as good as Scott Stapp ( impossible)

This guy was crazy when he was in Creed. He had some good ideas and was and still is a good singer however then all the fame got to his head and got a major ego. However then he figured out that he had the biggest ego on earth and decided to become well.....scott stapp again. He's an awsome singer no dought!

Scott is a good singer but imo myles is just that much better and mark tremonti actually gets to actually do some serious guitar shredding. I just can't see Scott being better than Myles after listening to Blackbird, you can't say that Blackbird isn't a great song. It is one of those song's that comes along once a generation in my parents' generation it was Stairway to Heaven and in mine it is Blackbird. Plain and simple Myles is better imo

nah.. myles had a band before and they are not that famous. musicaly and lyricaly they cant write good songs. when the 3 guys from creed came along and made him their front man thats when they made beautiful music. the entire first album of alter bridge was written by mark tremonti. music and lyrics was made by mark tremonti. technically he just sang marks song.

i guess after those years singing, touring he developed & evolved as a good musician and made their 2nd album blackbird in which he plays guitar also. i like blackbird a lot but its underated. & also you cant compare scott and myles they are so different in many ways and i like them both. scott's solo album is also good cant help the lyrics is so true and meaningful its coming from the soul. cant wait for his 2nd album to release. i wish both scott and alter bridge to continue making good music

No irony. Scott is much better. A story teller and a true writer and musician. People are giving him a hard time because he left Creed for a solo career. He's got his own personal life, and yeah he makes mistakes. Miles has good vocal range, but Scott seriously rocks. And besides, Creed with Scott did much better than alter bridge ever will do in terms of record sales.... so... think about that.

But it's just funny to me when people try and argue how Stapp is, objectively, a BETTER singer and how Myles sucks. It's just not true, technically speaking. I agree that everyone has a right to their own opinion and likes and dislikes. Scott and Myles have very different voices, but I will say that Scott sounds much better live, without diching Myles. Myles just sounds very bizzare live in comparison with studio recording; and Scott sounds pretty much the same live or in studio. But I still agree with you dude. I think both bands totally Rock and Scott Stapp´s solo album is REALLY good as well.

scott stapp is a freakin diva, he needs to be solo, cause he wants all the fame, his voice is good when studio recorded, and perhaps back in the early days in the late 90s he had a good live voice, but now-a-days it just sound like he is pushing it too hard and it doesent come out right.
alter bridge is relaxed on stage, having fun, tremonti has grown more than ever in AB and Myles kennedy has one of the best and most versitile voices of rock today.
