@Illumirage of course not... there are too many ways to exploit mech especially in TvP.... u need some sort of static defense like spider mines were in bw... planetaries are not worth it... they die too fast and are too big... its not "stealthy" so u can get enemies off guard.... what u can is spam sensorial towers in maps where u can cut it in half (aka not big maps) so u sort of force the attack path, making the opponent fight along ur tank line!

Medivacs can carry them, thus negating your immobile argument. Magic Boxed mutas still get raped, a rule of thumb for Zerg is don't take your Mutas anywhere near a thor.
Mutas aren't OP.
Vs. Terran - Thors, 'rines.
Vs. Toss - Templar, Archon.
Vs. Zerg - Infestors.
It's that simple really, all those units DESTROY mutas.

You're right, but I still maintain my position that Terran didn't need any more defenses. They already have a pretty hard shell to crack. Give the D buff to Zerg, we can't even fuckin' wall off for christ's sake. We need to make a separate building to deflect air or ground, we squander a worker every building, etc.
@Illumirage I will agree with you that Blizzard does seem to be Terran favored. And I do see a sort of nerf coming to this unit if it is implemented. A DPS nerf or a range nerf would be acceptable IMO.

This unit is absolutely a wrong direction, it just makes terran being able to turtle a lot more and thats not a good thing. You can defend a run by of lings by doing absolutaly nothing, it's just wrong.
The thing about these though, is that even if one allied unit walks into the circle, it is disabled. so if the terran has poor micro i imagine you can lure one of their units into their circle. Also, zerg's have a grapple now, so grapple one of the terran into the circle? just a thought lol

Well, you're probably right, but...for some reason I find that hard to believe. The mid/end-game 'toss death ball is unstoppable. Even just pumping out and upgrading a unit like the stalker can usually get a win. What single zerg unit can you say that about? Add to that a few sentries and some templar and it's almost a guarantee, not to mention proxy pylon warp in pressure if it all fails.

Thors are OP. Here's why I think so. For zerg, there is no ONE unit that dominates Thors. I can't say that about any other unit in the entire game.
You need a combo of ling-roach to really crush them.
