Wow thats horrible that you went through that! I have a question though, how did you figure out at home that they had left something in you, to go to the doctor, just by pain or fever? and what made you not to think it was just pain from the tummy tuck surgery? Oh also the antibiotics and the painkiller medicine that you have to take, is it liquid or pills?
OMG, Mel, I have been following your stories for a lil while now, but this is the 1st time I saw your emergency tummy tuck video and the revision video. My bottom lip was dropped the entire video. I hate this has happened to such a beautiful person. I wouldn't have wished this on a worst enemy. I'm so happy that you had a very happy ending and are enjoying all of life gr8ness. I pray that the surgeon who performed the butchered surgery is no longer practicing so he won't risk anymore lives.

I am very happy I didn't because I had my tummy tuck done here with a top noch surgeon and I also ended up with an infection it was a nightmare I know how scared you must have been. I do feel some comfort knowing my surgeon is here in the united states. Anyway it can happen anywhere. I know I been through hell dealing with an infection is horrible

You are a God send, I too had surgery scheduled w/ CosmeticHarmony & also Dr. Chevez was suppose to be my surgeon. I've been watching your videos, last week I was checking on any new videos you might have made and seen the one w/ burn scars and the botch tummy tuck...I immediately cancelled my surgery. CsometicHarmony is trying to tell that your case is a isolated issue. I sorry for what happen to you...just want to say thank you...thank you...thank you. Just want to say your still beautiful.

Wow it's amazing how GOD makes miracles happen. I mean you pulled thru and all the bacteria is gone,plus no removal of the lap band or your breast plus you got a revision on your tummy tuck. How does your husband and the rest of your family feel about this? I'm Sooooo happy that everything was done properly this time and I pray everything gets even better.

You are lucky are lucky to survive... How about post op, do you need to use clexane or any anticoagulant so that you wont suffer from DVT or PE? As you look weak and unable to move a lot.... BUt Im happy for you , you made it dear :) Was worried for you... God bless you.

wow. they hardly ever use those penrose drains anymore here in the U.S. -- only for a few reasons. the jaxton pratt drains you have in now are much better. thank goodness you are okay. also great news you got to keep your band and boobies.
All I can say is that is not "funny" nor is a "concidence" that somehow your lapband surgeon refferred you to this other doc is God...God loves you so much and He knows that you are here in this world for a purpose...to be a inspiration to other Melanie. May God Bless You Always Always Always...

You mentioned something about being required to remove the drain thing 6 days after surgery. You said you couldn't get to it when you tried. What happened? Just curious to know if you forgot about it, or what. ??
Mel wow I can't believe you have gone through so much because of this surgery.. Thank god you got this taken care of in time.. This is very serious and I think it is so important that people understand that although Plastic Surgery is expensive in the US it is probably much safer.. I hate to see you going through this. I like yourself was hoping that someone other than the US could do a good job, and be a means of choice. I guess still not! This is sad. I would have been so upset to have seen you go through al of this, and have a negative result.

OMG this just hasn't been anybodys week! I'm so sorry this happened to you! I'm so glad they caught this all in time. I had no idea this has been going on with you! This is the first day in weeks i've been on youtube. I've had a lot going on and I'm so glad your ok and your friends and family are with you. Thank god you are ok and caught it in time. I am so sorry you had to go through all this mess, but am relieved that you are being properly looked after. It really angers me that these "doctors" would not see you because they didn't want the responsibility, it should be illegal to deny a patient who needs care. @skymoon1982 Hi Melanie, I dreamt about you last night! April 12 (Monday) wasn't my surgery date (but bless you for thinking of me <3 ), it was the day I "got my surgery date"! It has been 2 years in the planning & 6 months in the preparation..but at last I have a surgery date. I'm just processing my second video now on YT (with my news).. but the actual date of my surgery is MAY 18, 2010! xox

You mentioned something about being required to remove the drain thing 6 days after surgery. You said you couldn't get to it when you tried. What happened? Just curious to know if you forgot about it, or what. ??

Mel wow I can't believe you have gone through so much because of this surgery.. Thank god you got this taken care of in time.. This is very serious and I think it is so important that people understand that although Plastic Surgery is expensive in the US it is probably much safer.. You are very lucky to have survived this infection.. Thank God! Have you contacted the surgeon in Columbia???

Part 2 I knew I would have died had I not had my surgery. Plus I get to be around for my 16 grandchildren and my new great granddaughter.I would not have plastic surgery. Im older, but you have your whole life ahead of you. Unfortunately you had a bad experience, but God is looking out for you. He probably used to to help others. Aww, poor Mel...that is so ghastly! Take it easy, honey and enjoy your second new life...that could have gone soooo wrong. You have lots to be grateful for, not the least of which being your best friend and family who truly care about you.
