Hes not at 265.... He stacked up like a fat kid in a candy store to get to 265 to see if the weight could help him... It didnt obviously. Weight is nothing if u dont have the strength, and as soon as he stoped stacking he went back down to 230ish, as you can see in the video, hes half the size of Carwin or Lesnar...
Weight is usually a very big advantage, even if it is not explosive strong weight, but in the case of professional athletes, and professional fighters more specifically, these sportsmen have a lot of different ways to win.

Frank should stay at heavyweight. He should maintain his weight training regime and basic elements of technique. Not getting caught and controlled in the clinch. Frank fought Lesnar WITHOUT weights and just incredible cardio and weighed in at 240- there is no way he is a LHW. Take a couple of olympic greco roman guys and train religiously untiil Lesnar loses to Carwin- then he can take his revenge.

Mir is a true heavy weight and i think and he looked great at 265 in his last couple of fights. he needs to keep weight training and needs to keep his new size on in order to be a top notch fighter in his division. He looked like a monster at 265 when he fought Carwin. Personally i would luv to see Mir make a comeback and i would luv to see him get another shot at Lesnar but if he wants to have a chance of being on top again he needs to be a 265 monster

what do you expect him to do? he got his ass kicked by brock and then by shane. moving down a weight class seems like the smart move at this point. he's got half decent boxing and great jiu-jitsu so he might do ok in the LHW division. will he be a champion there? i doubt it but he'll probably have more success. @Globox822

Plus, he lost to the two best ranked heavy weights in the UFC, you don't drop down by losing to the best, He's 1-1 with lesnar and 0-1 with Carwin. You don't drop down after 2 loses -.-

i didnt write that Mir is better and he'll beat Fedor, but I think there are no many fighters who could do it, one of them is Frank Mir, because of his jiu-jitsu, his strenth, his powerful. Fedor is the best in the world, he's a giant, but mma is a sport, where lucky punch can change everything, JDS, Carwin, Mir, Lesnar have powerful hands...
but if i should make a prediction, i say: Fedor is unbeatable and he is my favorite to be the greatest MM-artist in history :)
