Well, his health is leveled. In your case, he had only 80hp, where in lilcolton229's case, he has 630hp.

the wait i beat him was i used bone arrows then grabbed the poison and poisoned the arrow and my bow had like small fire damage and i beat him in like 7 shots

this might sound weird and kinda has something to with the gatekeeper but heres what happened. i was talking to this black guy on oblivion and so i stopped talking to him he clapped his hands for no reason and ran off.i was just like wtf? but he went to fight the gatekeeper.lol

if you have the expansion its right outside bravil, all i know is that the shivering isles landscape is 25% as big as the original world, and its got bitchin new everything
