  • comeon catfoish spike tha mothafucka

  • snakehead.... the niggers of the water

  • someone give him napkin

  • Cottonmouths swim with their bodies on top of the water, and i've never seen one that lightly colored. Just a non-venomous water snake

  • Thats a good size water snake.

  • I would shoot the shit out of that damn cottonmouth!

  • nee to mute it

  • That cats side spikes are going to really hurt on the way out! And YES that is a Channel Cat Fish!

  • you gotta shoot that snake, its an invasive species that doesn't belong in the u.s. florida would thank you

  • @paypaysmygirl its a water moccasin/ cotton mouth. It is not one of those crazy boa's that are being released into florida.

  • omnoomnomnomnomnomnomnomnom... :3

  • wtf

  • that reminds me of a episode on swamp people lol

  • Thats not a Cottonmouth (more commonly called a Moccasin). That is a non venomous species of water snake most likely a Banded watersnake. Its hard to tell because there are many variations of the Banded watersnake. They are totally harmless.

  • @daytonamgs correct , it is obviously not a poisonous snake cause the catfish is still alive

  • Should of shot that snake in the head...

  • I love eating catfish too, but I'm faster at it.

  • some give the poor bastard a skillet

  • That snake just had a thanksgiving dinner

  • water moccasin?

  • i wonder what the snake used as bait???

  • That is why I don't swim in the river!

  • I was wondering how this snake was gonna swallow the fish... I was amazed when I saw it moving its mouth towards the fish's head.

  • that looks like a walleye

  • FISH ON!!

  • Too bad it does not have opposable thumbs.

  • When I was young, we were fishing, and a snake attacked some catfish that we had on a stringer. It looked just like this. My brother picked up a shovel handle, and I remeber asking him. "What's that for?" He just looked at me and said, "Attitude adjustment." I'll never forget it, as long as I live, we only had to throw back one fish...and a snake.

  • I wonder what kind of snake is thatIs that a water moccasin?Thats hideous.I hate snakes.

  • Impressive footage. We never see stuff like this in the UK. There's no dangerous predators over here anymore. (Except for the Tories and the City bankers that is!)

  • @MrMephisto38 yall dont have any snakes?

  • @toweringmatt well, yeah, but not big one's and nothing really dangerous. The odd adder is very rare to see these days, and grass snakes if you are out in the sticks but thats about it. Of course, there are plenty of snakes in parliment but I don't think you mean that kind. :-)

  • @MrMephisto38 dang thats awesome. i hate snakes more than anything

  • That's American catfish, hope he'll rest in hell! fuckin' parasite!!!

  • who ever said a snake couldn't bite underwater??

  • @BornandCountryRaised I have just been proved wrong :P

  • @BornandCountryRaised ...no one.

  • @BornandCountryRaised who the fuck says that? heard of a sea snake? do you think they hunt on land?

  • I can't believe water snakes are brave enough to eat catfish! You would think those horns attached to their dorsal and pectoral fins would stab right through a snakes body.

  • wow that must have sucked getting eaten alive >.<

  • that fish was like ahhh shit. ya got me. well done.

  • omg lol

  • someone please give him a fork and a knife.

  • fish: awwww shit :(

  • to bad bad he couldnt drown it

would have made it alot easier for the WATER SNAKE!!!

  • ye,d think in ee time snake have been around they ,d have evolved arms ,must be a pure bastard ony having a gub ,imagine trying to eat a donner kebab wie nae erms ha ha ,get some some arms you dumb fuk snake

  • I think you all should know, if that snake was a water moccasin that fish would have been dead before it got to the surface.

haha sad catfish, I can only imagine what was going though his fishy little brain....Oh shit oh shit, just let go already!!!

  • I think that catfish eated snake from inside and gets away ... :D

  • need an eagle or hawk to fly away with it

  • I think he's tring to get his arm around it...

  • YEAH, I'M NOT FROM THE SOUTH. BUT I HAVE FRIENDS THERE. AND THEY COULD DESCRIBE A COTTONMOUTH IN GREAT DETAIL. SO I KNEW IT WASN'T ONE OF THOSE. I ALSO WENT ON THE INTERNET TO IDENTIFY THE SNAKE IN YOUR VIDEO. I SEEN THE ONE IN YOUR VID. AND THE ONE I THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE. SO I GAVE IT THE BEST GUESS I COULD. I KNEW IT HAD TO BE ONE OR THE OTHER. THANKS FOR RESPONDING TO MY COMMENT. THANKS AGAIN, T.M.

  • i love the look on the catfish.

  • i wanted the catfish to getaway

  • lmfaolmfao, i love how the catfish was moving and breathing almost the whole time :p

  • wowz thats crazy

  • Well if it is poisonous it sure is taking a long time for that fish to die. It doesn't look like a water mocassin. Why doesn't someone search this on the web? Oh, all right i'll do it. Why do I have to do everything?

  • @TheTunaMaster Well I just got off the web It looks like a florida or green water snake same markings shape of head etc. They are not poisonous. But, you should treat snakes and guns accordingly and treat every one as if it was loaded. P.S. Just cuz' you don't know what something is doesn't mean you oughta' kill it.

  • @TheTunaMaster

That is a Diamondback Water snake (nerodia rhombifer). At least you knew he wasn't a cottonmouth though

  • Sweet! is that a watersnake?

  • Sweet!

  • trhe thing is still alive you can see its gills moving in the close ups

  • coolest snake video ive seen yet

  • Fake

  • why is the fish striped ??

  • @cuttie1201 Why are you ugly?

  • @88tdwp at first i was going to make some serious fun at you because of the whole "diamondback" watersnake thing. but before I did, I went and did a little research and as it turns out you may very well be correct. i didn't know there was a water snake by that name. I love to get on YT and try to correct people when they come off with some crazy crap. looks like it backfired! well done!

  • he did it

  • go snake! drown that stupid fish drown his ass!

  • @rishaggy Wow... "drown his ass!"? Um last time I checked you can't drown a fish.

  • @ww2pimp220 haha check again you might be wrong!

  • that blows lol

  • i wouldve shot it....

  • It isn't a Cottonmouth it is a watersnake. Also the snake isn't that big, 2 or 3 feet at the most. Also when the snake swallows the fish, the spines won't rip the snake in two. Snakes have stretchable skin and its stomach will stretch to hold the fish. Snakes are specialized to eat prey items a lot bigger then themselves.

  • @88Tdwp no it is a water mossican because it would be a bright reddish colour i live in alabama and see these things all the time

  • @Daxton101 Dude. I know what I am talking about. I have been keeping snakes since I was 6. I have kept Corn snakes, King snakes, Hognose snakes, Iran jaya Carpet pythons, Jungle Carpet Pythons, Milk Snakes, Red-tailed Boas, Macklot's Pythons, and I have caught plenty of Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnakes and Timber Rattlesnakes. I have been studying snakes my whole life. Oh and I lived in Alabama for 21 years. I lived in Headland, Dothan, Haleburg, Enterprise and Birmingham (where I was born)..

  • @88Tdwp Hey arent water moccasins and Cotton mouths the same thing

  • @TheLILGOB Yeah they are man. They are both a venomous species of Pit-Viper.

  • @Daxton101 Trust me when I say I might know a little bit more about snakes then you do my friend. Water Moccasins look nothing like this. Water moccasins tend to be dark without a lot of patterns on there skin. Also a water moccasins head is a lot more arrow shaped because it is a Pit-viper and is venomous (unlike water snakes). Water Moccasins are usually short and plumb snakes.

  • @88Tdwp than what the hell did i see in the water coming under my boat and swim up on land it was a snake and it came about4 feet close to me and i also have seen a ratllesnake and that snake looked alot like a rattlesnkae

  • @Daxton101 I am not really a expert when it comes to water snakes, but it looks to be a Diamondback water snake. I am more of a python and boa guy not a water snake guy. The snake does look like a Timber Rattlesnake (Crotalus horridus) but the Timber Rattlesnake does not and has never been recorded eating fish. They live in mostly timber habitat hence the name Timber Rattlesnake. Dude.... seriously don't try to educate me in snake education. Snakes are my life.

  • pra que a musica de tubarão

  • cotton mouth we have alot of them in tenn

  • @aemike83 you bet we do!

  • ew!

  • i hope the snake knows that when it swallows the snake the cats fins will rip the snake in 2.

  • thats a big ass snake

  • Yeah right.

  • at 1:05 he's like "oh he's got me..."

  • i wouldent have just watched i would have killed the damn snake...fuck that was a little bit to big of one for me...

  • Its even more scary when you reel a fish up thats being eaten by a cotton mouth, I did that once, the same day i was bit in the calf by one, sick for 2 weeks!!!!

  • and how does the snake know that taking it out of the will kill it? smart

  • i wanna see catfish sting a snake lol

  • lol it woulda been funny ass hell if the catfish opened its bone like fins and just punchured threw the snake....lmao wha kind of snake was that... water maccosin?

  • fuckin sweet

  • damn look at that boy go hes eatin

  • Great footage! I'll bet that young Channel Cat was wondering what was hangin' onto him!

  • damn nature your scary

  • instead of filming this shit how about next time just kill the fucking snake

  • @hlr029 kill the snake in its natural habitat because it's eating a fish?

  • dam* that snake i would chop it in half, go to 'beep' snake! catfish is my favorite fish to me nothing wrong to eat a catfish or keep it but snakes sometimes are 'beep'

  • NEXT TIME I GO ON A BOAT I WILL PLAY THIS SONG

  • Comment removed

  • I didnt read all these silly comments so pardon me if im repeating...but that is a diamondback water snake, not a cottonmouth/water moccasin. Nerodia something is the scientific name. Common and HARMLESS but can have a nasty disposition if handled. Cool video of the natural world...or whats left of it. Enjoy it while ya can.

  • ive seen a snake do this bu it was MY CATFISH ON A STRINGER!! scary as shit rlly

  • Comment removed

  • @jeffersonlokey It dosent have the "mask" or dark stripe above the eye as a cottonmouth should have and it has a round pupil instead of the slit or "cat" pupil. Looks round to me at 2:08 or so. I'm saying its a diamondback water snake. Nerodia rhombifer is the scientific name. (i had to look it up)

  • @shanemoss there is noway to tell about the eyes with this quality of video... but i do have to agree with you!! i was wrong, i learned somthing new and i like doing that!! lol but thank you for the correction. and i will remove my comment!! P.S. i have never heard of that species before!! but will look more in to it!!

  • Some people are saying it's a harmless green snake and not a water moccasin, well search google images for both and tell me which one it looks more like.

  • wow amazing footage

  • haha the snake looks so happy and proud .. hes like yay food! ...poor catfish tho =(

  • I saw this exact same thing happen when I was hiking. It was awesome

  • nice bait for a proper catfish

  • 1. thats not a catfish . 2.ITS THE FUKIN LAKE MONSTA!

    that it all

  • dont save the fish its nature the snake caught it fair and square and it needs to eat to , the catfish is boned. ITs called the circle of life

  • thats a green water snake. they are nonvenomous and harmless to people. i love how some of the comments are saying its a water moccasin... lol

  • @riv3rsnak3 To mast people ANY water snake is a water moccasin.

  • @riv3rsnak3

Thats definitely not a green water snake. That is a Diamondback Water snake (nerodia rhombifer). At least you knew he wasn't a cottonmouth though

  • @riv3rsnak3 yes to people but not that catfish

  • u couldve saved the poor fish asshole

I have one as well...he is only 2 feet long so far but he is growing and he eats goldfish just posted a video of his biggest meal...jaspersbiggestmeal.mov check it out. I hope mine gets this big ....maybe i should start feeding him catfish ;p

  • cool

  • @

Resist the NWO, grow a herb/vegetable garden

  • where is this?

  • Why the fuck would you kill a snake who is living in its natural habitat? People have no business killing animals just because they don't like them. Some people need to stop being so ignorant.

  • @mangoliouskiwi agreed i have a watersnake saved it from some kids who wanted to kill it trying to get people to stop doing this is like getting a retard to stop chasing red balls , its nearly impossible

  • @mangoliouskiwi nobody killed a snake in this vid you fuckin prick. and even if, im sure if a mosquito bites you your gonna kill it, but noooo wont go out and bitch for the poor little mosquito that was living in its "natural habitat" you so call. you go out and get bit by a snake and tell me you wont kill every last one you see.

  • dumb

  • this snake is 1.7 ton annaconda eating a prehistoric megaladon shark filmed from the space station it's the first video of it's kind

  • @jaroncyr LOL best comment and thought process ive seen in awhile

  • @jaroncyr lol that would be the most epic video, EVER

  • @jaroncyr haha i almost fell off my chair wen i read tht

  • @jaroncyr megaladon sharks would weigh between 50-100tons. So this being a the anaconda must be well over 1.7 tons.

  • now im hungry for long john silvers

  • looks like a garden snake to me

  • its non venomous it is a diamond back water snake and the fish is stressed that is why it doenst thrash about much

  • @hotbooger1 no i think its a water moccasin and the fish is paralized by the venom

  • its not a broun snake nor a cottonmouth, its a diamond back water snake, non venomous!!!! you can change the song now
