Don't know why so much hate for the paint? I have an 08 GTS with 38k, still looks like new. Just as many chips as my 02 WRX had after a few years. If you drive on gravel and ride everyones ass, thats what you get! btw nice sounding intake. Sorry you didn't go for the MT.

notice the car being any faster after you put it in? I had a 2004 Lancer Ralliart 2.4L auto b4 i totalled it. The engine was awesome and the car was quick. I test drove the Lancer GTS and it just seemed a lot slower and not as sporty. I liked it though cause it's more refined and suspension is a lot more comfortable. I'm trying to make my mind up between the GTS and the new Ralliart. Love the new Ralliart except for the gas mileage and price

@GonsteadLover ..I have an 05 ralliart 5spd..i also test drove the new GTS and thought the same..nice ride but no guts, my 05 would stomp it from a roll in 2nd gear etc..fun ass car to drive esp on curves..im keeping my ralliart since i also have an 04 eclipse which is a good cruiser ride..maybe in a few years i might ditch the eclipse and get a GTi or WRX..but keeping the ralliart, just can't part with it..never had any problems..still strong tq after 70k miles..just a drop-in K&N is all..

i have an 09 lancer gts and after one winter the paint on the side of my car in front of back tires wore off, its bare white plastic. i noticed the 2010 lancers have plastic over where the paint wears off. I think mud flaps would of stopped this but oh well

Its a CVT, so it doesnt have gears, it uses a belt. It can emulate gears, but in the end it doesnt need to shift. Also, if your using the teptronics, it will "shift" automatically at redline so you dont kill the engine. I have an 09GTS CVT, I definitely want a bit more horsepower. Does the instake sound weird in drive? Seeing as it keeps the RPMs constant?

I certainly dislike the sound and the way it changes gear .. maybe CVT is good for some people ,not for me respect for those who like this tranny but the torque is bad and is slow I know it handles very well around corners but that's pretty much it.

I got 2009 gts for a month now, no paint issue yet, but the side skirt gets ding with rocks i got 3 now touch up paint will cover it. I just installed a GREEDY Spectrum Elite (SE) very nice exaust not to ricer sound. it's under 95db and it's looks sexy with a smaller stainless tip. I have the drop-in K&N filter for now. since this is a CVT I'll probably just leave it like that w/out modifying on cold intake since san diego police are ticket happy

EnEyeSeeKayy, stop the video at 1:29...you can see the tops of the paddle shifters just above the controls for the stereo...he's got the CVT transmission, so therefore the Auto...so yes, it works.

it really makes the car sound soooooooo much better...its loud when u get to 3 rpms.... i got a road race motor sports short ram intake...it costed me 240 thats with shipping..i got the short ram cause the cold air was more expensive and i wasnt lookin for a power gain really....just wanted a sick sound..u can still feel a little power gain though
