  • Legend and God of football

  • love a pint with this legend!

  • The greats make the game appear to slow down about them. George Best = legend.

  • look at the guy at 0:22 outting out his hand n putting it back in then lol

  • George Is the Best!

  • You can see him fighting for breath , a sad sight , he truly was The BEST

  • Both are missed George Best the Legend

and tfi Friday a great show.

  • I was about 3-4 at the time in spain in a hotel, I was running towards the elevator the doors opened and I bumped into a pair of legs. I looked up young and stupid not knowing who he was, and looked back at my dad shaking like mad, he was star struck, because I bumped into George Best's legs, and he said sorry to me.

    -He was a legend :)

  • he played like a brazilian so cool yet so weird cuz hes from nothern ireland maybe he has some latin in him does anybody know cuz hes kinda latin looking.

  • @hiredgun24

are you that stupid? so being from one country makes you play a differant type of football than another?

  • @JoshMufc101

actually yes, of course it's not a matter of racist bullshit, but culture plays a big part in a sportsman's development.

Just think about boys grown in the streets of latin America and their style full of tricks and fancy stuff, african players whose style bases on the physical approach or the boys from the Ajax academy where they're taught to have total tactical awareness since they're 10... as you might notice, where you're grown has a lot to do with your playing.

  • George Best a legend of FOOTBALL

  • Pitty N.Ireland and rep of Ireland didnt put there best players together maybe then he could have played in the world cup but of course religion and retarded politics wont let it happen

  • Great show this, but better than I remember.

  • He has many cardiopulmonary problems. In this vid just look him breathing his chest and shoulder.

  • oh george george george so many genius players of yesteryear, pele, best, charlton, greaves, and someone like titus bramble gets paid now more now in a week than they would have in a year or two, shambles....

  • he died

  • i bet he was trying to grab one of the drinks from the public

  • @procheke fuck you YSB

  • @procheke probably, its better than trying to grab a purse tho you scouse twat.

  • @procheke ahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

  • @procheke

    agreed

  • Good old Georgie

  • I've danced on the ceiling and left my blood at the floor. Alcoholism is not a choice but it takes you places; hospital, gutters, funerals, who was that woman?

  • keep that liver dancing baby

  • People all love georgie, but in reality, everyone should be ANGRY, because we all saw (I was there in the hay days) how good he was, but in reality. He was better than pele, eusabio, maradona or anyone, had he been pure football. He would have been the best ever. I'm angry, the real george best quit real early

  • RIP!

  • who's that cunt who grabs hold of him at the start - wanker

  • @2slipkid

    agreed

  • @2slipkid

    agreed

  • he was the greatest footballer ever to grace the pitch!!! fact, he had a problem and whilst alcohol still gets thrown in sheeples faces and is still legal thats whats utterly discusting and sick alcohol kills 250,000 people a year in britain alone!! and now they market it to children!! georgeie was just another victim based on lies from our government that tell us its okay just cos they earn so fucking much tax on that numbing substance!!

  • Best was an overrated sleazy cunt who never played in a World Cup. I piss on his grave.

  • @MartinEdwardsPervert Go and say that in the middle of Belfast. You will lose all your teeth at least !

  • @MartinEdwardsPervert Oop's a bit of jealousy there mate

  • @MartinEdwardsPervert I'm welsh, and you matey are a fucking idiot of a human. Dumb fucker, go to Belfast and say shout that in the streets, those people would put you in a bag, tie a brick to you, and throw you in the irish sea. go die fucking bellend.

  • Rot in hell Best, you pisshead waster.

  • @MartinEdwardsPervert he was the best for you u,k people as africans and the rest of the world zidan were the best of all the times yall dig it

  • God bless George Best!

  • from watching these youtube videos of George Best's in interviews, he seemed like a verysoft spoken , sensitive n overall nice fella.. regardless of his past lifestyle. ..he deserved his fame and fortune, but like so many talented young stars who became rich and famous too quickly, they were too emotionally and mentally immature to handle the pressures n demands , esp the deceit from those around, ..all wanting a share !! its a cruel world out there....

  • It's hard to believe that 7 years on George would leave us. He simply was the BEST. End of story.

  • @tenodogblu Was he fuck the best. What an insult by todays mis-informed media selective fed arseholes to proclaim George Best was the best! FWIW Ryan Giggs with so much more silverware and dedication to United AND only one recorded case of wife beating to his name is a much worthier title of "the best"

George Best! A womanizing,woman-beating patheric drunk who ended up at County (no offence Cunty fans) .... there's your hero children

  • @UtdFansAreArseholes ...i know my darling...giggs is an incredible professional...infact he seems younger...he can really stay on a football field... but you know...here we're talkin' about a genius, someone who disappeared in a premature way.. So...a LEGEND.

  • @UtdFansAreArseholes

George was a womaniser and a drunk, I'll admit to that. But in footballing terms he had the magic in his boots to turn a game and score goals from anywhere on the pitch leaving defenders bewildered as to how to stop him. I am not a United fan but I was mesmorised when he took the field. If George were playing today he would still be up there as the BEST. This is just my opinion and I was privileged to have known and played against him.

  • @UtdFansAreArseholes Wise up Giggs or Rooney or any of todays player would not have been fit to lace his boots. The man suffered from an illness which eventually claimed his career and his life. When a player of Pele's standing in footbal declars the best player in the wotld to be George Best why should anyoone listen to wanker like you.

  • @gunner33842 If he was "all that" Tell me why he was plying his trade with Stockport County at the age of 29? WTF does Pele know anyway? That poor cunt can't even get it up

  • @gunner33842 ..... Suffered from an illness? WTF?

you clown, it was self inflicted alcohol abuse!

He was so LUCKY because he was famous to get a 2nd Chance and a NEW LIVER!!

He had the bare faced cheek, to then carry on drinking and sticking two fingers up at all his friends and family and fans!

Someone else could of had that 2nd chance, he was a DISGRACE .

  • @MrSalfordReds do you comment on rapists, muggers, thieves, murderers etc, or just felt it necessary to comment on George Best? methinks your morals are all wrong....

  • @chad6258 ..... I comment on what is wrong. And George Best had a second chance because he was rich and famous. That second chance could of saved someones life. Yet he chose to be selfish and throw it back in his families face. And you think MY morals are wrong? I think YOU need to look at your own morals son.

I didn't think murderers, thieves, muggers etc were on You Tube, but if they were, i would comment accordingly on them too. This guy had a second chance few people get,and threw it away!

  • @MrSalfordReds He was an alcoholic. It's a disease. He didn't think to himself: 'I know, I'll piss my new liver into oblivion, and fuck my family over. Alcoholism is a genetic weakness, which I myself suffer from, though have under control. I'm a scouser, and a Liverpool fan, but despite playing for Man U ,Georgey was and still is a legend. It just frustrates me when people totally misunderstand alcoholism and the pain and struggle that goes with it, it's fucking hard

  • @ramejkisp well said, fella.

  • @ramejkisp I was also for two decades. It's not just saying "oh, I fancy a drink". I needed the drink in order to prevent siezures and DTs, nothing about willpower when those demons present themselves.

  • @ramejkisp utter bullshit: is a choice, not a disease. Alcoholism isnt something that happens to you, its something that you repeatedly choose to do.

People who say its a disease are just making excuses for these selfish fucks

  • @relarerfhjk you seem to think you know everything, so tell me, is ignorance REALLY bliss?

  • @MsJCBurke shut up you cunt

  • @ramejkisp I hope your keeping well pal. . a very brave post .

  • I wish I was alive to see georgie, and i hope some one will razzle the field like he did, but i doubt it's possible becuase it's so competetive for quality now, and the speed of the game now.

  • IDOLO.

  • This man is still sorely missed by all true football fans. Rest In Peace George

  • he spent well his life

  • a george bast never comes again he was only one!! nobody can play like him!

  • never ever heard any one say best was over rated and ime a liverpool fan

  • @kirkbyla im a liverpool fan as well rip mr best

  • What a waste

  • just read his autobiography ... what a life ...he did more in his young life than anyone else would ever do ..... good looking, the best player in the world, parties/cars/girls .... RIP George - there's no-one like u anymore .....

  • @mralan1969uk he is gemini with an aquarius moon like prince the artist! so thats not true hehe but he is an amazing man

  • Maradona Good, Pele Better, George Best...

  • Well said

  • @mikecalvert206

  • @gifted67 your mum a slut, your sister a sket, your nan a slag...... :)

  • @MrSeanhinchley fuck off ya fuckin tarrier fuck shankhill butchers ya wank

  • @mikecalvert206 My sentiments exactly Mike. George was simply the BEST and I was privileged to have seen and met him when I was an apprentice back in the early 1970's. He also ooozed charm and sex appeal and I;m married with 3 kids!!

  • @mikecalvert206 Brilliant!

  • @mikecalvert206 Maradona is the god of football, you can't compare gods to humans

  • @mikecalvert206 maradona god

  • Fix the tracking

  • its over 10 years old !

  • I was being ironic.

  • What a guy and what a great player. I couldn't give a rats arse about his off-field incidents. The guy enjoyed himself and made mistakes like most human beings would in that situation. Anyone with that much unique skill and look is going to be made into an idol, and many people would fall into the traps he did. Plus there must be millions upon millions of alcoholics on the planet who didn't the media attention he did.

Watching videos of his on-field stuff blows me away.

  • Bloody hell George was breathless when he came on here

  • "He was good that guy weren't he? playing the football there "

  • It's sad that so much attention is given to his off-field behaviour, when he seems like a genuinely nice guy in every interview I have seen him do.

Anyone know where I can find this famous clip of him nutmegging Cryuff. I can't find it anywhere.

    thx in advance

  • Did you ever find it? I'd like to see that too! ;-0

  • haha i remember that scotland brazil match, it was on about 4:00pm cos I watched it straight after school! im 23 now and I still remember it crystal clear!

  • ahhhh the dark and distant days of the 1998 world cup!!

  • Legend is right. RIP George Best

  • The Legend.

  • Great! Thanks for giving us this.
