  • i think I missed alot... namely the whole movie

  • 2.25 some dude tried to grab my little girl... i threw him on the ground!!! lol, best movie EVER

  • best movie ever created!

  • anyone know what this soundtrack is?

  • @cGirox99 It's called Recognize by Jamin Winans

  • Check out my channel for some of the other songs from the movie

  • Pause at 1:14 . Best shot of the whole movie......

  • Holding back the tears...Like a boss.. T^T

  • I'm going to use dehydration as an excuse on why I didn't cry, but inside I bawled dramatically. Such an emotional ending! I didn't see it coming and I didn't expect to either! Such a beautiful film.

  • @LimitBroken I remember him saying that and I'd definitely agree with you, but when exactly does he say it again?

  • it just goes to show, you don't need to waste millions of dollars to make a good movie.

  • This is the greatest indie film ever made.

  • @MolecularMoonlight It was made for next to nothing, so that'd be why it looks the way it does. And so what if it does? Does that solely determine the quality of a movie for you?

  • I don't know why I loved this film so much. End was awesome.

  • Epic papa wolf move

  • Omg I wish my dad would relaze me & love me cry so much

  • This movie pulls your soul, it is pure masterpiece.

  • I wouldnt say its the "best" movie - its just on of those... It is very symbolic and deep. Its a mixture of Pans Labyrith, Matrix, The Inferno, Spin (earlier DE production) and many more.

One of about 10 movies in the world I would give the rating 10/10

  • 1 2 brief 4 1 2 DONT DIE!!!

  • @frajeris987 best line in the movie, the way he says it wrenches your heart.

  • beautiful

  • A bunch of dream-givers can't beat Ink.

    The Storyteller can't beat Ink.

An entire army of Incubi can't beat Ink.

    Ink is amazingly badass!

  • 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 DONT DIE!!! <3 Jacob was my favorite. Him and the storyteller.

  • I remember the first time I watched this. I didn't know if I was crying because I was sad or happy. But let me tell you, I don't think I've ever cried that hard in my life.

  • Beautiful, touching .. deeply moving..what a great imagination and the imagery.. sensational.

  • ive seen this movie so many times, and yet when i watch this scene i still burst out in tears...its just.. so fucking... Perfekt!

  • Redemption

  • 1:11 is one of my favorite shots in the whole film.

  • thanks for uploading this clip. This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. And to find out the story behind the movie is inspiring as well. Beautiful story, wonderful acting. Thanks again for posting the clip!!

  • Just created this accout today at this moment, this is something I want to ask all of youtube Ink fans........ Why was this not in theatres in 2009?

  • @TheKeyMaster0111 it was a low budget b grade. yet the best movie i have ever seen.

  • @TheKeyMaster0111 No studio picked it up for distribution. No distro= no theatrical release.

  • @B1uefix She could be but also Ink was very changed and old looking. Plus did they reveal that or just keep it quiet? Either way, this movie is more about storytelling and interpretation than anything which is cool.

  • Am I the only one who thinks the dream woman taken as a hostage was the little girl? Specially with how time was all strange with those realms.

  • @Greycat85 You mean Liev the storyteller? I'm pretty sure that's the girls mother.

  • 0:45 is awesome. When watching this film and putting the pieces together, you pretty much wait for that moment.

  • It's the only movie when you have tears in your eyes during fight scene.

  • This film always hits hard, but I always laugh when I think of the little girls scary tough-girl growl.

  • PLEASE don't get me wrong...the movie was so-so and the acting was mediocre. What truly made this movie was the AMAZING soundtrack. Especially that finally scene. Oh man that music was emotional

  • @poeticitus I personally dont think it was the soundtrack that made this movie good, I think it was an interesting concept and I personally thought the acting was quite well done for a B movie.

  • @poeticitus Well said. The soundtrack really helped take this film to the next level.

Just think about how a big Hollywood film likely would have had some stupid techno/dubstep/synth rock during these 5 minutes.

  • This is one of if not the best film I have ever seen such an emotional scene

  • You must be a parent to understand this scene!!

  • @Ecikenen123 you dont have to be a parent for this scene to hit you hard, if youve ever had love in your life, and you would do anything to defend them it runs along the same principle.

  • brilliant movie for brilliant people only.

  • @adiprenne2006

I'm not a parent, but in fact this scene made me feel like I was about to drop a tears... This is one of the best movies of ALL I've ever seen.. And I've seen a lot.

  • Just randomly came across this movie on my Netflix list.. holy hell is this an incredible film. I've probably watched it 20 times, I'm still bawling after this scene

  • the meaning behind this scene it's so powerful

  • The movie was beautiful and heart touching, but the plot didn't quite have enough explanation.

  • Great movie !

  • I have no words to describe how awesome the movie and this scene is...

Again, this movie should get way more credit because it is trully legendary.

    1 2 3 4 ... ;)

  • My absolute all time favourite film.

I can't believe it was never picked up by a distributor, such a shame.

    Everything about it is beautiful.

  • I'm glad I didn't turn this movie off in the beginning as I thought it would be something silly. As it picked up and story started unfolding, it became so fascinating and ending completely blew me away!

  • The real hero of the movie wasn't Liev, or Jacob, or the team of Storytellers, or Emma, or even John. The real hero of the movie was Ink, John's soul, for reawakening after all that torment. This is truly one of those unforgettable movies that deserves more credit and attention than it receives. Jamin and Kiowa Winans did a phenomenal job with this movie, which truly deserves the title of "legendary".

  • When the little girl asks Ink "what happened to you?" the answer is pretty much stated throughout the entire film. I think that is why this one line carried so much weight for me.

  • :45 ....dad mode just kicked in! I love this movie. If it didnt touch you in some way then you didnt get the movie!

  • @shawn1214 I THINK, IF YOU NOT TOUCHED, YOU MUST BE DEAD... ;o))))). GREAT MOVIE !!!

  • @TooHuman - did the first time when I saw it last year, and just lost my shit again. especially the fight in the hospital when she's holding them off at the door - all that creepy slow-mo battle glory :p

  • I cried like a baby with this particular scene :']

  • FUUUUCCCKKK!!!! YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!! :,)

  • i cried during this part. it made me so sad

  • I loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove this movie. That low piano note at :34 seconds sends chills down my spine. It says, "the pure, decent, loving, fierce father has been awoken and he's pissed off." So awesome.

  • I'm crying lol

  • @noopklu I thought this final fight scene in the entire movie was one of the most touching moments.

  • @deadmeat90 agreed :)

  • This is such an amazing movie that makes you think that it is superb! BRAVO!!!

  • The Winans are sent from the great beyond. Brought this movie with them. I don't think I've ever been so moved by a film. The absolute best performance by unknowns EVER! If you've ever needed redemption, it'll rip your heart out. Get the DVD and watch all the extras, if you don't understand. Only thing I'd change: Put the deleted scene back in.

  • Of all the wonderful comments I've seen about this movie, I don't think ENOUGH has been said about the INCREDIBLE acting from Chris Kelly!!! Those eyes, omg! So soulful & expressive.

  • The movie was rushed, but beautiful. Ink kicks ass so hard I wish there were more Incubi to kill.

  • the ending makes me bawl my friggen eyes out!!! I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!

  • Man the end gets me every time.

  • Anyone who hasn't seen the whole movie; I would suggest seeing it before clicking the dislike button, cause even though it's not "Hollywood-made" it's a fantastic movie - I've watched it several times over, just to show other people :)!

  • I haven't seen a 177:0 "like ratio" ever. There is always a dumb clicking dislike button just for nothing. But here ... not :)

  • Ink is right up there with Dumbledore, Bat Man, and Chuck Norris.

  • This is the best movie i have ever seen. My favourite was Run Lola Run which is awesome but this just took me elsewhere. Beautiful film.

  • If there were no tears in your eyes at the end, you probably have no heart either...

  • @albert6014>>>>>>> what about if i cry all the movie >>>> i think i have tow hearts

  • @albert6014 I guess I don't have a heart :/

  • @albert6014 or they have not seen the whole show and have no real context as to what is going on. but yea they might have no heart

  • The end destroyed me.....thank you.

  • This movie is..perfect. Enough sayd.

  • I love the goosebumps I get from this.

  • no dislikes yet, says alot about this film

  • This scene fills me with fuzzy feelings.

  • PLEASE someone upload this movie!

  • The best movie this world has seen.

  • The best movie scene ever..period

  • This film = Art

  • he went harder than neo

  • Ok, I have a very simple question, Is John dead or alive?

  • @GalateaClaymore

John as Ink....is dead because he committed suicide and that is why he is deformed. John as just plain and simple John is still alive

  • @GalateaClaymore He is alive...Just the incubi had him in a flow to would end up in the girl's death and in his suicide and this created his broken spirit as ink in the otherworld since there the past, present and future have different meaning. The storytellers broke this flow and so ink was heal and gone since the thread of his suicide would never come to be.

  • @mormegil231 Oh yes..I watched this movie again and finally I came up with the same conclusion..thanks anyway...

  • @GalateaClaymore hehehe...i did not see that the comment was so long ago...I just saw the comment yesterday(and the movie actually).....

  • Comment removed

  • This film is AMAZING:!!! Thank by Director.... POLAND:-)

  • At first I was a little bit sceptic, if I would like the film. But this scene alone is a beautiful piece of work. The whole film touched me in a way I had never imagined. Thank you so much for that Jamin Winans!

  • I've watched over a thousand movies in my life and never has one stood out so much like this one does. There are movies that make you feel good but this is the only one that makes me want to be a better person, a better dad, a better husband. So easy to lose touch with things in life and get wrapped up in things that just don't matter. I just have to think of this movie to bring me back to reality. Astounding.

  • This was the only movie scene that ever brought tears down my cheeks and dripping off my chin.

  • this film is so good and amazing. powerful story but the music too is so amazing. i love the composer of this movie, sooo good!

  • @studio9011 Jamin Winans wrote the movie, was producer, editor and also made the music himself. :)

  • I too a grown man always cry at this part. it is so powerful. So much emotion, so much beauty.

  • There is one thing I think I noticed when I watched this video. Look closely at the inccubis which Ink beaten down. Correct me if Im wrong, but some of them seems to be normal people. They dont wear the inccubi costume or the glas in their face, but they look to have normal clothes. I thought that was a goof but, is there some meaning on that?

  • warning *SPOILER* if anyone can help, I'm still a bit confused, how are john and Ink the same person? or was that an alternate reality of him committing suicide and becoming ink? Please help! i watched it twice and still can't figure it out.

  • @valetudo151

time in the world of Ink and the Storytellers bears a different meaning. If there is time at all for that matter in their world. John died and became Ink. But Ink visits the world before John died. So in a sense he is kind of travelling back into his own past.

  • @puinno

    Makes perfect sense to me.

  • The one movie with a happy ending that I enjoy. Not too happy, not too sad...It struck me with awe though...

  • I'm a bit confused. Was there time travel involved? Dad/Ink had already recovered from the accident, become an alcoholic and die but awoke back at the time of his car accident. Am I right?

  • @6of6 Liv, the girl that died has the appility to go back and stop things/ change the way they happen, that's why she was with him so she could change things if he realized that was his daughter, because if he would have let her be killed things would have stayed the same. Hope that helped.

  • @Jennaroo132 Hey Jennaroo132. I figured it out after I posted. Yes, that Liev chick mentioned that a day is like a thousand years so it became clear that she can conjure up any point in time of whomever she is "helping". As for me, I wouldn't mind being a drifter. They've got the lot!

  • @6of6 The dead don't live in the same time frame as the living. Like she said, a thousand years is like a day, and a day is like a thousand years.

  • Jacob it's sick, totally amazing ... the link that binds everything.

    A masterpiece without doubts.-

  • i love this part so emotional, well the music i sanyways

  • where can i find the soundtrack/artist

  • @flameknight23 iTunes

  • just saw this movie thought it was terrible all the way through i would have just turned it off but i decided to keep watching. It wasnt until i saw the end did i realize what a masterpiece this movie is.

  • This movie completely surprised me. I thought it would reak of fail, but it's win and awesomeness shined through the way my cat's fur did when she had the allergy issue. Well worth the watch. The movie that is, not an allergic cat scratching bare-patches in their fur.

  • I watch this recently. My mother and her boyfriend saw this a few months ago and I just saw some scenes, because the beginning was not interesting and somethings were to weird to me. This was a very boring movie to me.

I saw it again, because of all the good comments together with my brother. This time not in spanish. We both saw from the beginning to the end and we have no words for this movie, except it is one of the best movies Ive ever seen.

I think many people still havent seen this

  • What's up with his nose! That thing's gotta weigh like 5 pounds on it's own!

  • well i just saw the movie last night, and i was like "so THATS why he went all Killer on those guys, and why that guy had tape over his eyes saying 1234."

  • best 2009 movie!!!

    amaizing

    beautifill

    so emotional... just love it

  • wats this movie about?

  • @Gulliman01

    INK (2009)

  • The writer of the music is brilliant and the movie itself was fantastic, I loved this movie and I wanna keep watching it over and over

  • whats the deal with the masking tape?

  • @DeathShamans He's blind so I guess that's just his way of incorporating his disability into his style. I love Jacob, he's my favourite character

  • @DeathShamans watch the movie dude - or you will miss much ;)

  • Great movie. The music reminds me of the Kick-Ass Score soundtrack. Amazing!

  • I looooooooooooooooooooooove that low piano note at :34. The minute I heard that, even during the first watching, I was like, "For the love of God, Ink is about to make these sons of bitches wish they'd never been born". So awesome.

  • Sorry to be like an obsessive schoolgirl about this, but just wanted to say how fucking fantastic this movie is again. I'm compelled to come back to it.

  • wow, can't say it enough....superior work and storyline that really hooks you, especially if your a father.

  • Fuck this movie, makes me cry like a little bitch. Damn you IIIIIIIIIIIInnnnnnnkkkkkk!!

  • One two three four, one two DON'T DIE!

  • This is the best movie!!!! I wanna see more by him!

  • When I started watching this movie I had my doubts, but by this point I too was moved. This movie hits the right note.

  • that's it grkkostaki!

  • This move was Amazing, one of my Favorites.

  • I watched this movie when it first came out, it was an amazing piece of work, fantastic premise, great acting, the best musical score i have ever come across, and to top it off it was all done for less than 250K it puts all other movies to shame, with budgets in the millions, after watching this, I expect a michaelangelo scale piece of art.

  • @parkerupham Yeah. Seeing this movie pretty well ruined every 'major' blockbuster type production for me. You just can't beat it. The imagination of the writers, the directors and producers...coupled with perfect casting, great costumes and makeups, and just enough 'faking it' in the special effects department to get the job done--without going overboard.

This film offers a new perspective to film-making and story-writing.

  • @BasherCoon Amen.

  • Yes I cry too,Ink is incredible movie one of my favorite,it is too strong movie with many ideas

  • I saw this the other day, and I was kind of blown away...so, so gorgeous. And such a powerful, important message - I truly believe that this could have the power to change someone's outlook on life.

Seriously. This is why I watch indie films.

  • Thank you Hollywood for not touching this movie. If you did, this would have been another action film with familiar actors and I would not have experienced such an enchanting movie. :')

  • @Glass11

    I do soooo agree !

Lets hope for more of this way of expresion..

    ;-)

  • @Glass11 It honestly depends who directs it, if we got one of those lame directs like the guy who ruined resident evil. Then yes it'd be ruined.

  • What is the song Can someone tell me. Such a wonderful movie.

  • @kagomefan112 The soundtrack is made by Jamin Winans and the particular song is called Recognize.

  • @kagomefan112 It's a soundtrack made just for the movie

  • if this doesn't make you think of every moment in your life ... nothing will ...

  • Jacob:1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4....DON'T DIE!

  • I heared the entire soundtrack to this movie and bits and scences. It look like a wonderful movie, where can i buy it or download it. im a big fan of john murphys orignal scores.

  • Oh gosh, this scene made me cry so hard! :P It's amazing! :D

  • amazing masterpiece!!!

  • LOVED THIS MOVIE and only hated one thing....the way the storyteller died *breath in breath out breath in breath out breath in breath out dead* lol

  • That could be another title for this movie: Ink: Grown ass men don't cry. This man literally had to choose between his daughter's life, or his career...but don't we all? Before the industrial revolution, we never had these problems. Did you know that when men were taken out of their homes to work in factories, their life expectancy went down ten years? Men's sense of worth used to be derived from working alongside their progeny...now we have to leave our families to love them?

  • The only movie I've ever purchased, and I'm 43.

  • Best Independent film i've ever seen
