lol, here in netherland, we have a "ne kids on the block" to, there like 5 poor guys, steeling and drinking beer and stuff, there are dioing stupit things and stuff, look for there song; new kids turbo
This was my favorite song from their 1st album. Ahhh, why did Jonathan have to be so shy? And I liked them in the other 2 albums when Jordan K was more of the lead singer than Joey.
With this song particularly, u can definitely tell the boys were shepherded by Maurice Starr. Starr, who discovered and shepherded New Edition in the beginning, did songs like "Candy Girl" and "Popcorn Love" for New Edition that sounded like Jackson 5 songs. This definitely sounds like something in that vein. I wouldn't be surprised if this was originally intended to be for New Edition be4 they broke away from Starr. The early days of NKOTB were interesting as they were then more of an R&B group
thats joey singing with falsetto not jordan. Jordan voice was deep when he was 16 but joey still had his kid voice. Listen closely its joey singing the falsetto.
This song brings back soooo many memories from being a child! I would play this TAPE as loud as I could and sing and dance to it in my room! I l love it!
So my question is was Maurice Starr really that intelligent when it came to music? Some of his stuff with New Edition and NKOTB was cheesy but people liked it. Was he overrated or underrated?
By the way I love Jordan K, his voice range was consistent his whole life. Joey can't sing like that anymore.
when i hear this song i think on the good 90,er <3

Maurice Starr thought he was slick! This sounds like an Osmonds rip-off, while NE's Candy Girl was a J5 rip-off...LMAO
