Thank you for making this video! I was born and raised in Ajo and always knew it was a beautiful community, but through this video you have highlit the true beauty of it. The people in the community are wonderful....they are friendly and make you feel at home while visiting, which makes you not want to leave. I plan on retiring there, hopefully on the ranch I grew up on. Thanks again! You did a phenominal job!
I went to 4th & 5th grade in that school. I guess it was formerly a prison. At least as kids we were told that (and felt we were in one..haha)
I remember going home from school through a series of tunnels under the roads -- for water drains. And for entertainment in the evening we would watch them pour molten slag out at the tailings dumps.
This made me want to go back for a visit -- thanks!
I lived with relatives , here back in 1973 . A-mountain was the first mountain , I ever climbed . I rember the giant copper mine. I remember going scorpian hunting to make paperweights , to sell to tourist. Thanks for the great flashback .
I went to school in Ajo and lived at the foot of Childs Mountain. Some of the scenes remind of our home even though the scenes are more south of where we lived.

Very enjoyable and soothing. If I could make my desktop that video, it would be awesome.
