European Chess came from either Xiang-Qi (Chinese chess), or the Indian game (can't recall the name). How's that for copying? For centuries, the Europeans copied Chinese silk making, porcelain making, tea (well, they couldn't for a long time).
@jgalex1990 It's a "made in china" product, and chinese are good at copying, stealing and ripping of, what did you expect ? It's not like korean who got their own style in animation, chinese are just a bunch of shitty copy-cats.
@dlwitness You mean the Chinese copied paper, gunpowder, the compass, the kite, the seismograph, the multistage rocket (read up about that one), porcelain, silk, embroidery, ceramics? WHere do you think the Japanese got their writing, tea customs, bonsai (read about the origins), origami (read about the true origins), zen buddhism (Ch'an buddhism), read about the true origins of Karate (came from Kung Fu). How about Japanese music? You guessed it, came from China. Architecture? food?
@pawoon lool you knew nothing about Asia AT ALL, thousand years ago the chinese ancestors were invading a lot countries around them, as you could see the China nowaday wasn't one country years before, thus is why they got foods that similars to the other's, there were many countries, so don't blame the history since it wasn't china, I now say china is shit because they can't stop copying stuff and made them WORSE, getting fruits from others and selling poisonous fruits back, end of story.
I felt like there was some backround noise in this and it was driving me crazy so I turned the sound off. Anyone else feel like that? Also it was recorded very loudly, because even with my volume on low, the sound was very sharp and a bit painful...
Chess is supposed to be an educational strategy game, yet his parents don't allow him to play, since they think it would interfere with his studies? Does anyone else find that strange?
Not really. It can be quite time consuming to learn how to utilize many of the strategies and tactics in a game as strategical as Xiangqi, or any other form of Chess.

not too many styles of show can make chess interesting except anime
SteelandSouls15 1 year ago
The quality is fairly acceptable, nothing feels blatantly ripped off from other shows and the character has good aesthetics.
