Know what everyone, both movies are good in their ways. First of all their fighting styles and movie plots are already different, also both actresses had put in LOTS of effort in behind scenes if you bother watching. Since Violet is not a 'human' and Aeon is, why bother comparing both if they're so different. makes you more upset when you LOVE one of them.

From the fight sequences shown here, you can see that Milla/UV is much more kickass. While some of the fights in the movie are pretty contrived, she does rock and she does do some martial arts. Charlize/AF looked like she was mostly doing acrobatics in the movie, if this mix is to be believed. Just watched UltraViolet this evening, it's been awhile since I saw Aeon Flux.

Milla did her own stunts - fair enough. But let's not forget Charlize did all her own stunts in Aeon Flux and still completed the remainder of her stunts after recovering from her serious neck injury. Watch the stunts featurette on the Aeon Flux DVD if you get a chance - you'll be amazed how much of the behind the scenes stuff is even better than what they used in the movie.

I think both women deserve credit for being kick-ass and this is coming from a huge fan of Charlize.

Technically, Violet can't do that, the bracelets she wears enter an alternate dimension where her guns and sword is. When activated they basically appear, without those bracelets, violet is useless. But with it, i'm sure she could take down aeon at any time.

Meh, honestly as bad as both movies were, UltraViolet was more entertaining than the movie version of Aeon Flux; At least in some way you could tell UltraViolet wasn't taking itself too seriously whereas the latter film was. As to who would win a fight. Violet Song Jat Sharif (Milla Jovovich) would win hands down alone with all the firepower she's carrying (hidden in plain sight). Aeon wouldn't have a prayer.

actually, Ultraviolet SUCKED ASS... you could SEE that 95% of the movie was CG. Where in Aeon Flux, you couldn't tell. not even the flying ship above the city looked fake.
