I love this movie so damn much... pretty much one of the best things I have seen in a long time :) it's funny too because I didn't even really care about seeing this before it came out... went and watched it, and now it's one of my favorite movies.... funny how things work out!

Flynn is not dead. In an interview with the director he states very clearly that Flynn's code is still in the grid, but fragmented. I believe Flynn will be in the 3rd tron movie in 2013. Idk about Clu though.....

I don't know why this movie got such a label of shitty writing. I thought the underlying storyline, while subtle, was really good. This scene especially is epic.
this segment, "The Final Confrontation" together with "Gandalf vs The Balrog" from Lord Of The Rings has to be two of the best scenes in movie history ever!

The music in this scene is awesome. It's matches the theme of the scene. As a film major, I believe that if you want to make great music for the film you have to always have to have music show the exact same emotions of the characters.

What if there was a way to rebuild The Grid so Sam and Cora could go back and rescue Kevin? Or something where The Grid becomes the real world? There must be a third movie because when Tron "dies" his lights go from red to blue meaning he's a good guy now like in the 1982 movie. Besides, Sam did originally come to get his father, so the only thing that made his trip worthwhile was bringing Cora home.
@TFDude101 If they where to rebuild the grid, Kevin Flynn weren't going to be in there because what you saw in this clip is, that Flynn "reintegrated" himself and destroying Clu with him. They probably could make a movie where Sam and Flynn's partner, Alan would create another Flynn but then Flynn would've lose his credability because we don't know if it's the "real" Flynn.
I think some meantioned that Dillinger boy, played by Cillian Murphy, would be a rival to Sam in the outside world.

The music in this scene is awesome. It's matches the theme of the scene. As a film major, I believe that if you want to make great music for the film you have to always have to have music show the exact same emotions of the characters.

@TheFanboy19 Clu didn't disobey! He did his programming, he made the perfect system just as he was told to. Flynn changed not Clu. Flynn's perception of perfection changed when he encountered the ISOs.

What if there was a way to rebuild The Grid so Sam and Cora could go back and rescue Kevin? Or something where The Grid becomes the real world? There must be a third movie because when Tron "dies" his lights go from red to blue meaning he's a good guy now like in the 1982 movie. Besides, Sam did originally come to get his father, so the only thing that made his trip worthwhile was bringing Cora home.

@TFDude101 If they where to rebuild the grid, Kevin Flynn weren't going to be in there because what you saw in this clip is, that Flynn "reintegrated" himself and destroying Clu with him. They probably could make a movie where Sam and Flynn's partner, Alan would create another Flynn but then Flynn would've lose his credability because we don't know if it's the "real" Flynn.
I think some meantioned that Dillinger boy, played by Cillian Murphy, would be a rival to Sam in the outside world.
