It is not clear what you are trying to tell us? With FF design you mean a two-wheeler with aerodynamic shell like the Magic Scooter? Then why should you need 30cm extra ground clearance? I'm totally confused.....
I placed the velomobile higher just to see how it would be to try to get in a motorcycle cockpit with similar cockpit. That entry hole would be higher. I estimated 30 cm.
@arjenenbob I think he is looking at it the wrong way.In a design such as a enclosed motorcycle,you can make the entry easy or a little bit harder.Lit Motor's did the smart thing in their prototype[model]doors.Stepping into a vehicle isn't a great marketing tool, plenty of impaired,disabled people,a huge market,would go else where.
@inagod At that moment i was trying to avoid the need for a wind screen with wipers. It would only add complexity in building and extra costs. I wanted something really really basic.

B. A flat, horizontal surface
C. Put foot close to the Quest just behind the front wheel
D. Swing your other foot over, but not on the seat
E. Rest your backside on the headrest while you pull your other leg in
F. Sit down
