AC130'S are purely for scaring the shit out of the enemy and make the enemy team shellshocked and distracted from the game at hand. They are purely for pushing back the enemy or for distracting them while you take a area.

You have to understand that they were all inside the building...a few came out and a harrier/pavelow got the kills instead of ur ac 130 until the last guy.

AC130 takes 4 stinger shots to shoot down and lasts for 30 seconds

Chopper gunner takes 2 stinger shots to shoot down and last for a minute

here's my opinion regarding the two.

ac130 is funner to gun but doesn't rack up as many kills on most maps because it doesnt move around as much.

chopper gunner is not as fun to gun, but is better for getting more kills, and therefore a nuke, on most maps. however, they can be shot down much more easily. also they can be awkward to aim sometimes.
