Thanks Lainey - yes Agnetha was blessed with very good looks as well as a wonderful singing voice and she wrote her own songs during her solo career. Its not surprising everyone loves Agnetha, she was very talented! I've got a bit behind with things after youtube made some unwanted changes last month, but I'm gradually catching up!

Deai Lainey don't mind being an agony aunt, I'm quite good at listening! Yeah this famous song has a nice slow tempo and gradual build up making it good for anyone to get stuck into, and of course the title is ideal! I've never heard of singing at a bingo competition, I guess that's the half-time entertainment. The lyrics are in the description underneath the video, but I'm sure you know them. I thought it was great and one of the best songs in the movie! It was more spoken than Agnetha's version with Meryl being an actress. Also the ending is more dramatic but that is to be expected for a highly emotional moment in a scripted musical where they want to maximise the visual effect!

Thanks Laura - yes this is a unique and very personal song with Agnetha singing these break-up lyrics written by her former husband. Everything about it is just right, with the tempo changes controlled perfectly for dramatic effect. It must be on Agnetha's mind that she is singing about herself, especially being stood alone throughout, but her performance is as perfect as ever. This is often thought to be her best ever singing performance and a musical masterpiece of emotional drama!

That's a pity Christian, as they still made plenty of great records after this - like One Of Us and The Day Before You Came! There were plenty of tears when this was recorded, with Agnetha singing these personal lyrics by Bjorn that mirrored their break-up. No doubt many people in the same situation can relate to this song - it was voted the top heartbreak song of all time!

Both children came through the experience well Christian, as Agnetha slowed down her career to give more time to them. Linda has been a successful actress and has two daughters ages 8 and 2 with her fiancé Jens. She lives with her family in her own house on her mother's horse farm on an island near Stockholm. Christian went to university and studied physics and engineering. He designed computer games and now has a business partnership developing web-sites for others, including his sister.

Thanks Isabelle - yes we would have trouble just holding a pen steady if drinking whisky, but I think the Scandinavians used it to ward off the cold in their freezing winters and were much more used to it. Bjorn probably had all this bottled up inside him for a while following the split with Agnetha, and just needed a melodramatic tune like this to let all the emotions out + the whisky to free any inhibitions about writing of their personal heartbreak! Glad this has brought back some memories.

I believe that's so, as there is an 80 page info booklet with the 30th Anniversary box set. But I don't have that as its overpriced and is printed mainly in Japanese and I've got all the individual albums already. I got my info from "The Inside Story Of Mamma Mia" in which Benny and Bjorn discuss all the songs in the movie, which cost just £10 and was a present.
