  • Love cannot be express enough!

  • reminds me of those hot phoenix summers.

  • Nice vid

  • VEVO ALWAYS KILLS IT WITH THE ADS. Fuck you Vevo, here's hoping you go bankrupt fuck off, and let youtube handle this.

  • @godiamone Add block plus dude, simple plugin for your browser that is Free and it downloads and installs in almost no time at all!

  • Recently added too my mp3 player!

The harmonica player looks very good. I bet she still does today in a Mariska Hargitay way he he!

  • heard this song on .977 radio internet radio couple years ago never knew who it was til couple days ago very good catchy 80's tune :D

  • Big dreamers never sleeps is gino's best album! Recorded it with Jimmy Aslip,

    and is 2 brothers!

  • C'mon !! is that Peter Stormare at 3:44???

  • The guy a the keyboard is Joe, Gino's brother!

  • FROM 2:55 TO 3:10 THEY SHOW THREE DIFFERENT DRUMMERS??

  • what the fuck this is definatley not the rolling stones

  • Those commercials are a complete turn off. Thank VEVO -_-

  • he is awesome and has been 4 ever

  • he is awsome

  • A number one classic that was a part of my generation. Thank you Gino for the music. It lives on to this day....

  • @MidnightRambler73 Amen!

  • This is a shame the Gino that was popular in the late 70's was awesome.

I do not know what to think of this, other than I would not have liked Gino if this was the first thing I heard by him.

    Brother to Brother...............

  • the drummer is hot

  • @evnewell: Which one?

  • @taurusfroggy With Joe and Ross.

  • Glad you brain surgeons out there figured out this isn't the Stones or Boyle version of a song ...... Now that that's cleared up - Gino out classes the Stones and Boyle by a country mile with this song - I use to listened to this song 25 years ago and just heard it 2 days ago for the first time in 25 yrs.... Brilliant work by Gino and the girl in the video is a perfect touch - bet the next time you hear it you won't mistake it for a Stones song :)

  • BEST SONG AND VIDEO THAT GINO HAS EVER DONE...ALL TIME FAVORITE!!!!!! ALEXANDRA MARCELLA MANOLESCO-AMI

  • I'm not partial to this rendition of the origional song, but it does have it's good parts. But I gotta say, the girl playing the harmonica is smoking HOT. The way she shimmies in that nightgown, all covered in sweat, She's the only reason I watched this video from beginning to end.

  • I know the Rolling Stones' song of the same name has been covered by dozens of other artists so I can see why it might confuse some people that this isn't the same song, but they're really nothing alike. Not the mood, not the tempo, not the lyrics, not the melody. The only thing Gino's song and the Stones' version have in common is the title and about 6 words in the chorus, which happen to be a common expression.

  • Gino looks like Antonio Banderas in the final seen from Assassins

  • I didn't mean the 1000 times better as hyperbole.. it was only enthusiasm plus the fact I'm not a huge Rolling Stones fan.. LOL

  • fully pimp!

  • I love this song

  • one person was dyslexic and thought the dislike button said "dis i like"

  • @swisscheeseMAFIA that joke is old

  • The Beyonder!

  • anybody know who that girl dancing in this video is? she's probably one of the sexiest women i've ever seen

  • Fantastic post! I completely forgot about this long lost gem. Loves me some Gino!

  • man its rewarding when you spend an hour looking up playlists on radio websites and you finally find it. Popular song, and Ive heard it for years, but wanted to find it out today.

  • She reminds me of that girl from Terminator.

    Just sayin'

  • @aleatharuth show about the black and white?

  • this is one of the cheesiest songs ever! but i love it!

  • @0menv0x How did you know it was a trans?

  • great song... love the trannie dancing with the harmonica

  • Love this song !!!

  • Always liked this song, but the singer's Michael Bolton-meets-Fabio-style visual histrionics are a little off-putting.

  • Girlfriend broke up with me... 3 days later while driving to clear my mind, this song came on the radio... Got her back the next day and it feels like the first time, this song spoke to my soul!

  • Just saw him in concert tonight, and I gotta say...it was incredible!! He is a million times better live, without a doubt :)

  • All you excitable types, just close your eyes and listen to the music! It's a beautiful song. Don't let the video destroy the image, okay! Relax!!!!

  • great song

  • this song reminds me of my ex.

love hate relationship with this song now.

  • at least 150,000 views on this video are fake.

  • @Maxmulham No.. I watched it 150,000 times.... Did you see her or not, Gomer?

  • @cjvidmeister Look. If you think I'm dissaproving of Gino Vannelli. You're clearly mistaken. If you click on the statistics icon below the video, you'll notice that 150,000 views were applied on the uploaded date. It's very common for VEVO/WMG controlled videos to do so.

  • HAHAHAH that drummer is SO FAT!

  • Memories of Grade 10 in '87

  • this song goes hand-in-hand with Springsteens, "I'm On Fire" <3

too bad they both remind me of my ex. :\

  • The beginning of this song is kind of a rip off of I'm on Fire by Bruce Springsteen.

  • Is the skinny drummer with the black curly hair David Garibaldi from the group Tower of Power? It sure looks like him!

  • Outstanding song, heard it many years ago, very early morning on the radio,

    80,s music the best!

  • Its the 80's all over again, Mang!

  • He is so sexy!! He even makes the mullet look good!!

  • @Chameleon703 Heh heh... interesting. But he is probably the only person who has a mullet that does fit him. Still, I think his short hair on the cover of "Black Cars" looks much better...

  • No its not the same song that Susan Boyles and Stones sing.......

  • love this song..... back in the eighties.....

  • I think it's supposed to be sexually playful more than anything.

  • ...and parents then thought heavy metal was dangerous?

  • In reading through the lyrics, it sounds like he took a girl to a remote location, she tried to resist, and he repeatedly raped her. And @lorilynnzahottie; this is not a Stones cover.

  • Gino should be inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame. Go to the web site and nominate him. He should have been added long ago. Come on folks he's a classic Canadian talent. Let's give him the honour he deserves.

  • .....fantasizing about slim shady and chilling out to this awesome nostalgic filled song....

  • I Love This Cover...He Made This Song His Own...Sounds NOTHING Like The Stones !!

  • @lorilynnzahottie I am pretty sure this ISN'T the same song that the Rolling Stones and Susan Boyle do...

  • @shmuli9 sure is.. same words

  • @mrpickles1 Just to make sure (I MIGHT have been wrong), but the lyrics and tune are completely different. (Yes, the 'wild horses couldn't drag me" lyrics are the same, but neither the Stones or Susan versions have "as the sun goes down on the Arizona plain", amongst other things...

  • @shmuli9 oh touche brother.. you're right! ahaha i was only listening to the chorus teehee cherrio

  • @shmuli9

No shit, Gino is an incredible Canadian singer and Producer.

  • @shmuli9 it's not the same song as the Rolling Stones and Susan - it's 1000 times greater!

  • @northweststar1001 Yes, I think so too... Maybe not a THOUSAND times better (what hyperbole), but I prefer the Gino Vanelli song much better...

  • As a massive Stones fan, I can promise you this is most definitely NOT the Jagger/Richards composition. This probably would have been a better track without that drum machine.

  • I was born in the 90s, but I love this song so much~ My Mom used to play it a lot - and still does. :D

  • I first heard this song when I was a senior in high school and loved it! Now I am 43 and still love this song! Try finding this great music today.

  • He sang tonight at Québec city and that was the third song on the playlist !!! Love it !!

  • Makes me want to pull out the convertable and tear along under a flawless, blue summer sky, warm wind in my face.

I find most 80's music makes you fell great to be alive, this one certainly does!

  • I gotta put this one on my only-80s-songs mp3 player!!

I have Black Cars and It Hurts To Be In Love already, I can't believe I missed this 80s classic!!!

  • @amazingdany "Just a Motion Away" is probably my favourite of Gino's in this era, but I REALLY remember this video...

  • Oh dayum..how can I forget the night by that spring-fed quarry..after a long hot day haying on the farm under a broiling sun..cool, clean water to soak our sweat covered bodies in..and Roseanne and I ended up in the back of my Chevy pickup under the stars on a bed of fresh hay..this song and many others crooned over the radio that night, but this one is what really set the mood..aaaah yes, summers on the farm and evenings at the quarry..that was livin'...

  • Good video..He has a New Album Out Now!

  • I was a senior in high school when I first heard this song and fell in love with it! Now at 43 I still love this song!

  • I'm 21... met a 50 year old women at the bar last night, said she just came from a Gino Vannelli concert.... banged her.

  • Love this song. I used to hear it on KBCO in Boulder, CO when I was growing-up in the 80s. But then they got bought-out by Clearchannel, and some songs apparently got blacklisted, and this is one of them. Someone probably got all offended over the connotations of consentual-or-not passion. Quite a shame, too. It's great to hear it again.

  • Even nowdays I am in love with this harmonica girl

  • Back in the days when women had pretty hair ... and so did the guys. I think I'll go find a Richard Marx video for comparison.

BTW: Gotta love a model with 'real' assets.

  • who are the drummers?

  • This song was sooo sexy to me, all of 14 yrs. old!! =)

  • Excellent song!! I am 34 .. I grew up with this type of music.... 80'S MUSIC IS THE BEST!!! GINO VANELLI ROCKKKKSSSSSSSSS!!

  • I was only 13 when this was released so I wouldn't have appreciated how incredible it is at the time. Wonderful!

  • that's some good finger snappin'

  • i probably heard this in 1987 but don't have a distinct memory of hearing it. he did really good in the mid 1980s but wasn't heard in the usa then. i have to admit he seemed to me like a relic of the 70s and early 80s during the mid 1980s but i was wrong to think that because this music is good. this music wasn't given a proper chance.

  • I cud hardly breathe when this sing played on the am radio. Gigi babe, u did it for me. Sillyheart21 on youtube. hope i can do likewise for u. Throwing frisbeez put into the universe. C'mon catch one huh? Here we go ....wheeeeeeeeeeeeee`~~~~~~~ "Need a Breath of you" Sillyheart21 > curious? It killed the cat , y'know. lol~~~ I know. lol~~~~

  • lyrics...The OJ Simpson song............still love it!!

  • Great song from the summer of 1987. Never forget the year or the song.

  • @bmr622 I think I heard this song in the fall of 1986. I remember hearing it on the Canadian Top 20 on CBC Radio back in October or November 1986, but the album this song came off of didn't get released until around May or June 1987.

  • At 1:44 : Go, Gino, Go! ;)

  • @drkam6 LOL

  • @drkam6 hahahaha... oh man, that's good, made my evening ;)

the way they are sweating and Gino's hip thrusts make it very realistic :P

  • are you referring to Mr. Holland..the grade school teacher?

  • I love this song...whenever it comes on the radio, I always smile! Reminds me of my childhood and our road trips to Sparwood!

  • @cdnoutlaw146 On the radio? Never heard this song then and certainly will never hear it now, with all the other stuff they play on the air here. They wouldn't know good music if it sat on their face and started to wiggle.

  • This is one of my favorite 80's songs... i grew up in the boonies and i still love trucks... some day i'm gonna have a big huge truck !!!!!

  • That woman in the chair ain't no chick. I agree it should have only had the babe playing the harmonica. End of it.

  • LOL- The drummer (fat guy) reminds me of my most favorite teacher back in grade school! Awesome this just is!

  • Wow Gino has camel toelol the jeans from the 80's lol. They really hiked them up there lol I couldnt wear those...my shit would be showing so much half way down my leg I like my jeans baggy not like a cheap hotel with no ballroom lol

  • Nice video butt the sunbathing chick doesnt fit in with the video

  • @khandajatt Chicks always fit in a video you stupid sand nigger lol

  • Gino has alot of action going on in his high waisted pants...oooooh ya.

  • yes, I first heard this song in college as well and still love it. Who was that hottie lady on the harmonica? She was hot to me back then and still is! You go Gino!

  • 1:41- Did they promise him a steak dinner if he played drums?

  • A harmonica never looked or sounded so good. Great tune too. ;-)

  • @Rennpanzer - Kinda reminds me of Horatio Cain haha

  • What awesome rythem and voice and lyrics! I loved the girl dancing with harmonica. The other woman didn't belong there.

  • @sjtravis Another great song. I love it....

  • He did this too?

For me this is a relatively new song.

I remember him having a hit or two when I was a teen.

Or maybe I'm just getting confuseder as I get olderer.

  • @ 1:37 - is that VP Biden on the snare?

But seriously, this song is an anthem for me and my Wife, as it was on the charts when we met in 1987.

Ah the memories, that the best summer EVER.

  • nice song....really smooth video

  • wow!

  • First heard this song in college and I loved it then. I still love it! What an awesome song!!
