I have a sprint mogul and they make me pay 10 a month. I heard the iphone is going to regular data rates but who knows. The 8525 is an awesome hardware. Make sure you upgrade to WM6 since it is 4gb SDHC compatible (up to 32Gb). I use a bluetooth Oncourse GPS receiver and the Oncourse6 Navigation software (note: you dont need unlimited DATA service if u have these components). With Google Maps/Windows LIVE map, you will need data unlimited service - which can be a pain at times...iphone is made for the masses and general use. 8525 and Tilt is more a power user business tool. Its not for the average joe....

How much do you have to pay for the GPS service? And I, personally, very much love the Tilt, but ATT generally have pricier plans than I would prefer. The tilt is expensive, but you only have to pay once and it's for one of the best phones on the market. The data plans are killer.
I use the 8525 on T-Mobile actually. Since ATT and T-Mo are both GSM, you can use the phones on either network. At T-Mo, you only pay $6 for unlimited data. But the network is much slower than ATT.
Yeah, I have Dash with the T-zones plan, but I think it's waaay too slow. Tilt is too expensive for me to buy unlocked. Plus, you don't get 3G. And if I'm not getting the Tilt, I'll probably just go with whatever phone I like best, regardless of carrier (service seems to be the same).

I think he was talking about the Tilt on TMo. Although the Tilt supports 3G, the TMo network (in the States at least) does not support 3G.
