with the passive crossover 3 way, i am looking on building a passive line array but i am not sure what to do with the passive crossover and where to put it and not sure if it has to have a crossover. i am going to have 8' sub, 4' mid, 1.25' horn and i will be making 2 sets of line arrays
So, for the three way, does the mixer go into the crossover, then three L and R's out of it, into three power amps, then into each speaker accordingly? (one for highs, mids, lows)
Your videos are always helpful. This one actually helped me to understand what 3 way stereo is. I've retired the Behringer cx2310 crossover and purchased the DBX 234xl 2way/3way stereo 4way mono crossover because I have a 6 speaker system (2 tops, 2 mid range, 2 subs) all running on 3 seperate amps. Now if I can just figure out the configuration on the DBX 234xl using the 3 way, I'll be just fine. Any suggestions?
PLS HELP! i have a problem, i have a Behringer-CX2310 crossover 2stereo/3mono, it could be used for 2 or 3 way, i want to use it for 2 way, i have 2 mid/hi speakers witch have an integrated passive crossover, a sub-woofer and 2 amps, so far so good. I set the crossover for 2 way signal as it says in the user manual but it still sends a 3 way signal, i can hear either the very highs or the very mids on my speakers, and the sub gets very little signal, i can barely hear it or feel it. cheers!
...in our band we use a Crest powered tri-amped (3 way) system....in a tri amped set up a little power goes a long way, then again we use horn loading for lows, mids and highs which adds to the efficency

Hi j , can you use the two way system, having a 3way speaker and a bass cabinet?or do a 3 way cross over and given high and mid in the speaker and bass in bass cabinet? Thanks
