he is absolutly the best singer of any generation. and many to come. some might have a better tone or w/e you want to think but he has the most power and has touched millions. few singers have done that, and most will. god bless you pavarotti. God bless you and may your soul rest peaceful in heaven.
It wasn't even a bad High C at all, it's just that it's blatantly obviously stuck into the song just for the sake of being there and it sounds completely out of place. It's not Pavarotti's fault, it's the composer of the song's fault.
@TheYoungTenor100 i bet you couldnt do it even if you practice for your life time, i swear people find fault with everything these days, bunch of stupid ignorant people you all are. you all simplay cant find a reason to appreciate something good when you here it, you just had to find a fault
che malinconia essere senza lui...la bellezza della sua voce e' che pavarotti usa tutte le note .il timbro della sua voce e' sublime ;ma mai lo stesso monotono suono.ti avolge nella belleza della sua voce.. mi manchi
Singing even a single high C with tha full and rich voice is quite difficult and if you think that he has health problems and he was 68...it is incredible!!!
@mauriciomille It's a song. For this Pop album Pavarotti announced a free competition for composers to write new songs for him and he would chose and record them in his album Ti Adoro (which was released in 2003 and was the last album in tenor's living). Composers for this song are: Edoardo Bennato & Michele Centonze & Edoardo Bennato.
@Mooauf80 I must disagree. The high C in ll Gladiatore is not as secure as this one and becomes very ragged towards the end of the note. This one is much more secure and steady.
What song is this? It seems kind of .... ew to me. Cheesy elevator musicl opera? Sorry if I offend, but I'm sorry, it sounds pedestrian -- despite excellent orchestra and of course, il mio Pavarotti.
i just typed this last sentence while listening to the song. when i heard that high C my jaw dropped.

Stop 'C', so he couldnt give more than that?.... or why stop C?...
mauriciomille 1 year ago
@mauriciomille If you look carefully, I wrote "Top C" not "Stop C", which means "High" note in tenor's vocal range.

@sopranosd It's from the last livelong album of Pavarotti "Ti Adoro". He sang this at his 68, so you should know it.
