@MsSasa26 Matthew 12:18 does not mean the Disciples saw Jesus as a servant. It's impossible to use the Bible to prove Jesus was only a human. Muslims have been trying for 1400 years and have never succeded. Matthew 3:16 and 12:18 have the same context. God is proclaiming Christ to be His Son. Christ came to do the will of His Father...no one disputes that, but your example does not say that Jesus is only a servant and a human.
haha.. you think wat u already know is the truth.... suit urself.. i left u with this vid that i make on my own....watch?v=Ya7mxCifctw .. n for your info, all my works here is not for mankind at all.i dont mind if u wanna believe me or not..up to u..bcoz,eveybody wil b jugde individually. n your saying that muslims hav been trying n not succeed?? in wattt??? im muslim, n im not arab. "saya orang melayu yang beragama Islam dan islam adalah jalan yang benar". peace b unto u. wslam
Jesus said.“I can do nothing of my own authority” (5:30). The Qur’an tells us that Jesus came to teach the same basic message which was taught by previous prophets from God—that we must shun every false god and worship only the one true God. Jesus taught that he is the servant and messenger of that one true God, the God of Abraham.compared with the Bible ( Mark 10:18; Matthew 26:39; John 14:28, 17:3, and 20:17) where Jesus teaches that the one he worshipped is the only true God...
Yusuf Ali uses the phrase "last prophet", however, that is just not what the arabic says. In fact, nowhere does the Quran say that Mohammad is the last prophet. The closest it gets is "seal of the prophet". "Seal" does not necessarily mean "last"
haha.. "seal" for me is like the sum up of everything...it is end actually...haha.. suit yourselves.. if you refuse to admit that "seal" of prophets as "last" of prophets...=) "To us our deeds, and to you your deeds. Peace be to you. We seek not (the way of) the ignorant." Quran 28:55..... hope you will find your journey for this... w"salam...=)
@MsSasa26 a "seal" can be something that closes something. It could be something that conceals something. It could be something that keeps something from opening.
It could mean a lot of things. The fact is, the quran never says in direct words that mohammad is the last prophet. To say otherwise is plain wrong.
you know, when you want to seal smthn, u have to make sure everythins is already in...then the seal will be the last one. you cannot seal smthn when there are more to come... i hope u get wat i mean...and since you have said this thing, let me know ask you.. where in the bible that said Jesus pbuh is God??? n Jesus ask you all to worship him??? WHERE ?? in what verse? seal you refuse as the last... but, mesengger of God, you take him as God even he never asked u to do that...
@MsSasa26 Jesus said He is God in John 10:30 when He said that He and the Father are one Essence. Go back a few versus to 10:28 when Jesus said the He gives people eternal life (something only God can do).
Jesus recieved worship in Matt 2:11, Matt 28:9, Luke 24:52, and so many more. The fact is, Jesus claimed to be God, and he accepted worship.
haha..jus becoz he said the one essence so, you all take him as God? how about the verse before when he said "I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all" you know, all this God did it.. but Jesus is not God.. one essence here means thru one power of God the Most Gracious..he is just a messenger of Allah to people of Israel..all this had explained detail in Quran...
@MsSasa26 I'm glad you brought up "Greater than all". The Koine Greek word is MEIZON, which is a word that speaks of authority. Jesus used the same word when He said "the father is greater than I". Since Jesus said MEIZON, He claimed equality with the Father. You or I can't claim to be equal to God, which means we can't use that word since God is a greater being than you or I. Jesus used that word proving that He is equal to God.
Also, sura 33:40 in arabic does not say mohammad is the last of the prophets. I'm not sure what translation and version of the quran you are useing, but it doesn't say that in arabic.
33:40.... "Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the last (end) of the Prophets...." you go to google, and you type "searchtruth(dot)com" there is a huge search engine website for the translation of Quran, and all of them says the same thing for verse 33:40.. the point now, i dont know from where you learn Quran..and i hope that it is not from prophetdoom(dot)net... coz its actually the jew who translate our Quran...
None of those people were muslims. Islam didn't exist untill 610, which means no one was a muslim before then. Besides, none of those people (except mohammad) ever worshiped the islamic deity. The differences between God and the deity mohammad created are far too different. If you gave a copy of the quran to Abraham, or Moses, they would wipe their ass with it and throw it away. They would have never accepted islam or the islamic deity.
@truthforchrist Moses was not given Quran... but was given torah.. and after that, when people of Israel refuse to follow Moses, Allah send Jesus to people of Israel...and for this one, they tried to kill Jesus, but Allah actually rise him up unto heaven and put someone else of his place..they also twist what is inside Torah and Gospel..and for da last one, Allah send Muhammad to bring mankind to worship ONLY ONE GOD..and those who worship ONE GOD is a muslim.all this is in the Quran..=)
