You know, their explanation of the Bacterian (in a weird way) makes a lot of sense. I was surprised there was a Salamander anime, and I'm glad it finally gives a human face to the heroes of Gradius.

Something being canon means it fits perfectly into the series

This doesn't, mainly because of episode 3. Gofer didn't come into the picture until Gradius II, which took place about 100 years after the whole Zeros thing

the first episode is for salamander - the 2nd is for Gradius then the last is for Gofer No yabou ^_^

they've did that on purpose for something ... i don't understand what makes you think that this anime wasn't perfect but ... the way the story goes was originally in this way ^_^

Anime animation is really cheap Way too many still pictures with just the lips moving Hated Battle Of The Planets and Speed Racer too

the game can be 100 times easier than the animation to let you know ^_^

this animation in full HD may take about 500 MG in MKV format but it's classic games doesn't takes more than 1 MB XD

and by the way this anime is old .. try to watch a new one called sky girls and you'll see what they did to the vic vipers ^_^

it was way too good from konami to be able to make this animation since that time ^_^
