first rrod were never fixed. they just find some way to avoid them. i think that there are now about 10 to 15 % of xboxes going to repair because of that. still it is a high rate. second the only microsoft game that i liked was gears2. i didnt like the first one, only th graphics. halo3 is an overhyped game that is nothin special. halo1 was good, 2 was more of the same, 3 is nothing special. mass effect i played it on the pc. so what reason do i have to own a 360?

Regular errors? RRoD? The red ring of death issue was resolved LAST YEAR and as of summer '08 the rate officially dropped. That system overload is thanks to the massive amount of gamers enjoying the 360 over the PS3.

You're citing an old article with that, and it was even said they would put it on multiple DVDs before they would make it a PS3 exclusive. Rockstar has many separate departments that focus on different games.

we don't have only home. we have psn. and psn is almost like live. but you pay to have live while the psn is free. also some of your games online are laggy because the connections on xbl are peer to peer. PSN has dedicated servers so if there's any lag is minimal. so yeah, ps3 can offer a better online experience. and our hardware is also better than 360, so i think we win

first rrod were never fixed. they just find some way to avoid them. i think that there are now about 10 to 15 % of xboxes going to repair because of that. still it is a high rate. second the only microsoft game that i liked was gears2. i didnt like the first one, only th graphics. halo3 is an overhyped game that is nothin special. halo1 was good, 2 was more of the same, 3 is nothing special. mass effect i played it on the pc. so what reason do i have to own a 360?

360 doesn't have to pay for exclusive titles to pull in gamers, it's consoles outsell the PS3 without it. The 360 has been getting exclusive DLC, but hasn't been putting any effort in exclusive titles.
Of the three systems, 360 has the highest rated games, the better online service, and a greater library. Also, the PSN ruins online gaming. The MGS4 servers went down a week after it came out, LBP couldn't host content, and K2 has laggy servers.

are you crazy? ps3 never lagged me in any game. i play k2 with 32 players and never seen any lag. gears2 lags with 6 players! psn uses dedicated servers. xbox live has p2p servers. only 4 xbox exclusives are rated higher than 9.0 in ign. PS3 HAS 14! yes 360 pays for exclusive content. it payed about 50 million to rockstar so the gta L&D was only in xbox. yes they dont put effort in exclusive titles. what exclusives do u have for this year? ps3 list is huge and all look better than any 360 game.

I've had this argument ten times over.
Live has been rated better than the PSN by every single reviewer. I already said the exclusives the 360 has are DLC, and that it doesn't need them to sell, unlike the PS3.
360 doesn't have any exclusives since it's owned by Microsoft, who ports it to the PC.
And as far as sales go, PS3 can't even match the month-by-month sales of a console that's been out a year longer than it. 360 even outsold the PS3 in JAPAN.

Regular errors? RRoD? The red ring of death issue was resolved LAST YEAR and as of summer '08 the rate officially dropped. That system overload is thanks to the massive amount of gamers enjoying the 360 over the PS3.
If the p2p servers are so terrible, why is Live hailed as being superior to the PSN in every way? Why is it that reviewers bash the PSN for it's laggy servers?

no, rrod is at 16%. thats the official number. it never disappeared. it just doesnt happen so often. do your research. E74 error is another problem that is happening to most of the elites. blinking light of death on the ps3 happens. yes i know. a faiilure rate of 2%. wow. compare it to the 16% of 360 (official numbers of last year)

No, it isn't. The rate dropped off to below 1%. Just because the issue is resolved doesn't mean it's going to change overnight, 360s were already on shelves when the issue was resolved, and the new 360s running the falcon chip were released.

the only reason why you have lost&damned is because microsoft payed rockstar 50 million to keep it as an exclusive. You're citing an old article with that, and it was even said they would put it on multiple DVDs before they would make it a PS3 exclusive. Rockstar has many separate departments that focus on different games.
The new exclusive franchise you're talking about isn't a sandbox title or anything along the lines of GTA IV according to tat same article, it's something new.
This is a classic example of how PS3 fans have to hype up games that might be coming to it instead of building a foundation.

what? im not a PS3 fan! im both ps3 and 360 and wii fan. yes, the new exclusive franchise is something new. im not hyping with that. first i want to see how it looks like. im hyping with ff vs.13, god of war3 and l.a.noire. its different. but the only 360 game that interests me is alan wake. and im not expecting so mucj for the game. the trailer footage never runned in a 360. what you see in the trailer is running in a power pc. heavy rain looks better and that footage is from a ps3

yes ff13 will be on 360. microsoft should had payed millions to square enix so the 360 owners can have the game too. vs13 interests me more. i saw both trailers. vs13 its exclusive and looks more awesome than the 13. the game will not get out for 360, since the square enix president said the 360 couldnt handle it. fallout3 is a great game but its not an exclusive. i was talking about exclusives. you can play fallout3 on pc and ps3 too

Once again, the 360 doesn't pay for exclusives (besides the DLC packs). I bought the game for the 360 because I love xbox live, and if I'm playing a game I'm going to put a lot of time into, I'd like to have friends in my party to talk with. Way to contradict yourself there, since earlier you said you used your PC for work/business.

i was talking about god of war3. assumed that you were too. i said I "mainly" use my pc for work, since I'm a multimedia designer. but that doesnt mean i dont play in it. i play lots of FPS on the pc. never got tired of Half Life2. play L4D on lan all the weekends. i played fallout too on the pc. great game. but its different to play on a console. anyway if i can download the game for free and play on the pc i wont buy it for the console. unless i really love the game. like gtaiv for example

and if you do the math: 80$+ for the wireless adapter for 360 and then another 60$ for the monthly subscription.
PSN is almost like live but with dedicated servers and the ps3 already has wifi integrated. plus other things that you have to pay apart on 360. and even that you pay for those things ps3 will still be capable of more than 360. try having 60 players online at the same time in any game in 360... oh that's right. you can't. have you played resistance2 ?
