Please keep in mind that the vid is already 2,5 yrs old.

  • @Gettopimp187 Nice video dude, whats the song at 6:43

  • 5. WARSAW !!!!!! tak jest :) piona

  • nice senk you

  • Poland ! ! ! Thumbs up ! ! !

  • @ pelpliniak I'm sorry I made a mistake

Warsaw has in total 10 buildings above 200 meters

And Frankfurt in total 11 buildings above 200 meters

If you're really interested, watch one time at emporis.com you can see the top 100 of the world. (Frankfurt is nr. 73, Warsaw isn't on the list;))

  • I was recently in Frankfurt, and I will say frankly that Frankfurt has a slightly higher skyscrapers, but Warsaw has a lot more, well, and among these towers is a beautiful Palace of Culture. Warsaw is almost like New York

    WARSAW number one in Europe

  • @pelpliniak1 i can't change you're opinion but the fact that you give are wrong, Frankfurt has in total 60 skyscrapers and 5 buildings above 200 meters. And Warsaw has in total 50 skyscrapers and 2 buildings are above 200 meters. I already said, I can't change your opinion but it's correctly Frankfurt is number 1 and Warsaw is number 5.

But I agree Warsaw is pretty nice

  • Rotterdam has more skylines than Amsterdam... just sayin'

  • After searching/viewing almost 20 related videos to night *skylines period,,, Lord knows I finally landed on the right video!!! OH HOW I JUST LOVE IT!!! Thanks for posting,,, I can go to sleep now ;)

  • Will you do a top 30 best Asian skylines?

  • @HTownCountryFan

Well, sounds like a good idea! Maybe!

  • I like that you took Frankfurt as No. 1 since you live in Germany but has been in Frankfurt, and the skyline looks excellent out

  • 2:19 - giant dildo?

  • @raulmali

    Paris = France

    Warsaw = Poland

    Madrid = Spain

there are no Italian cities in this top 20

  • i like Frankfurt (of course), but also Rotterdam but they're missing some 200+ buildings, Warsaw and Moscow without those communist buildings, Paris with the Eiffel Tower and La Defense.

Madrid, well i don't know, their skyline is like 4 big towers and that's it. Liverpool was a big positive suprise for me. Also was The Hague.

London can't give me a feeling like: YEAH that's the nicest skyline i've ever seen, yes it's not bad but there are 2 clusters and the buildings aren't really impressive

  • you only show business center and/or overbuilded places, like bloody benidorm. That's not what make europe different...

  • @MrStaxxy

Not intended anyway, so why do you care??

  • rotterdam nicest skyline

  • hahahahahahahah!!!!!!!!!!!!! italian skylines????? ahhahahah madrid orrible paris orrible warsaw orrible !!!!!!!!!!!!!! add italian skyline!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @markop9711

    Relax, man...

Yes, today Milan would get a place among these cities (but not in 2009), Naples closely fails and other cities like Genova, Brescia, Rome or San Gimignano (;)) definitely aren't Top 20 material...

  • @markop9711 Paris, Varsaw and Madrid have better skylines than any other italian city!!

  • @raulmali Paris, Warszawa and Madrid are italian cities???

  • @janb17 paris is in france, warszawa is in poland .. madrid.. well i actually dont know where madrid is :d i think its spain

  • @queenzortje O RLY?

  • @janb17 ey fuck you man, you asked it

  • @queenzortje please, read the comment I replied for and find out what the term ''sarcasm'' means

  • @janb17 i know. but why put the question there int he first place

  • @markop9711 milan will be in the top european 20 soon. chill your bean 'n wait

  • @markop9711 don't be jealous man,Warsaw has so many skyscrapers.Central Warsaw looks so modern, and the TALLEST building growing up in Warsaw..come to see.Greetz from Poland

  • TALLEST building of EUROPE.....forgot to add :)

  • @MrWojtek1982

Well Warsaw has a great skyline but.. the tallest building of Europe?? What would be the name? ;)

  • @Gettopimp187 - Chmielna development Tower- 66,or 69 floors . high-300 m.

  • @MrWojtek1982

    Thanks for the info ;)

    No disrespect but this tower..

    - is not even approved yet

    - is planned to be 'only' 130m tall

    - won't be the tallest of Europe even if it was 300m tall... (there are taller towers at least in Moscow and London)

  • where are the Katowice?

  • @kalewra1 nasza kochana silesia nie ma aż tylu wieżowców

  • @cibor1987

Thanks for explaining him this for me :)

I think Katowice would be very nice if all the highrises were of good quality, but like it is today... it has to improve!

I expect more from polish cities like Wroclaw, Poznan, Danzig and Stettin in the near future.

  • The biggest skyscraper of europe is finished in 2012 in Warsaw nicee!!

  • I prefer Frankfurt and Benidorm ;) greetz from Warsaw

  • well london is not that good, what about moscow

  • London is gonna rule 2012 with the shard, pinnacle and other awsome skyscrapers enjoy your last moments frankfurters!!

  • OMG poland is so beautiful .. The one thing i like is that WARSAW Poland has trees ! green trees makes the city prettier ! not like other usa cities only brick thats all :) oh and fake trees .lol

  • i was born in scotland and moved to winnipeg canada

  • I <3 Warsaw ! ;*

  • London's skyline is awesome now but wait till 2013 and see londons skyline :)

  • vienna is great but i had choose night pics......frankfurt deserve it..!!

  • The biggest european cities are ( Based on UN 2010) London (12+million) Paris(10 millions) Madrid (7millions) . Moscow would be the first if you count oriental europe

  • Where is Katowice from Poland?

  • lol! whatsup with european cities building dildos as buildings

  • @gamextreme23 Nothing you're a dildo

  • I'm impressed by Frankfurt so far! Greetings from Warsaw ! happy u inlcuded our capital aswell :)

  • Did not expect brussels in there

  • manchester is the best in the uk if you count salford quays

  • Paris, Frankfurt and Warsaw the best skyline's in Europe...

  • I wasn´t expecting that piece of London awesomenes at 8:38!

Also, been to Benidorm many times with the Gran Hotel Bali shooting a beam of light into the dark sky. And just one question Why didn´t you have Berlin in there? It hasn´t got that many skyscrapers, but the Fernsehturm is quite a cool sight.

  • @TheMajin7

    Thanks for your comment!

Well I excluded Berlin here because I think its skyline is not nice enough to be in the Top 20.. (somewhere around #25-30)

I've got it at #4 in my Top 20 of German skylines, although meanwhile I would put it at #3 there (before Cologne) due to some recent developments.

  • Nice beautiful pictures and music!!Greets

  • the shard will own all

  • u should look at Turning Torso in Malmö, Sweden wich is 190 m high! And btw Stockholm is planning to build some very high skylines :) (Finally)! Im tired of all those church towers in Sweden..

  • @Alecs1122

Yeah, TT is a very nice building but it's not enough to say Malmö's skyline is great.. The "Hilton cluster" is too small and too far away from TT. Stockholm's skyline is too spread out but the new area around Kista science tower seems to be promising. :)

  • paris got a biggest buisness district in europe

  • i <3 Europe

  • BENIDORM IS LIKE A LITTLE NEW YORK

  • @spanishamuerte In my opinion just like Rio de Janeiro and Copa cabana xD

    greetings from Poland

  • yeah Kyiv, really awesome city and great people; and Oslo is actually much nicer than it looks on the picture

  • Thanks for the comment. By the way: there are 2 pics showing Oslo (of which one shows the newer developments. the vid is from August 2009, though.

  • PARIS !!!!!!!!!

    Of course.

  • EUROPE I LOVE YOU !!

  • Comment removed

  • Poland and Spain :) ;] nicest skylines as for me

  • I love Europe !!!

  • berlin have the most architecture multiplicity

  • For now Paris' La Défense is actually the Europe's largest and most massive business center indeed, but anyway all of this is generally too small compared to Asia and North America. Still Europe is the wealthiest market on Earth, and I want to see it in our modern architecture. I wanna see high quality skyscrapers blooming all over our continent, from Greece to Ireland, from Portugal to Russia, from Malta to Sweden.

Is this clear you motherfuckers !? Let's get ambitious ! Europe #1 ! Forever !

  • @amherdoll Shard London Bridge is the tallest skyscraper in the entire EU, which is taller than Eiffel Tower, it is still under construction and it will be completed by 2012. If you combine skyscrapers in Croydon, Wembley, The City, and Canary Wharf, would the biggest clusters in Europe trust me blad

  • @1234567loading The Shard London Bridge thing looks interesting but it's still a bit smaller than the Eiffel Tower (1017 ft against 1063).

See Hermitage Plaza, that's what some russian investors wanna build in Paris. They seem quite determined and the construction should start in the coming months. The architect who designed the project is british (Norman Foster), that should comfort you. Paris is gonna be more and more insolent again, you guys should just try to take it easy.

  • @amherdoll

eiffel tower isn't a building though

  • @JoshRobertson142 right, it must be some sort of naked structure, it has only 3 floors. it was the first "supertall" structure (over 300 m/1000 ft) ever built though (1889). i hadn't compared it to the shard anyway, it should never be compared to anything.

  • We dont really got big skylines in Europe like in Australia, Canada, Usa, China, Japan and some country's of east Asia..

  • European cities are about substance .Thats why Europe has some of the most beautiful and most livable cities on Earth.

  • Minimal techno, great sound. Great pictures.

  • Liverpool better than Amsterdam, Vilunis better than Barcelona, sorry I do not think so ;)

  • CTBA Madrid :D four towers :D

  • I reckon Frankfurt and Warsaw have great skylines.

  • I guessed Frankfurt would be first :D

I think London's skyline is a bit lame right now, but in a few years it'll be the best if you look at what they're building

  • what s name this first song? is amazing!

  • super music and greeaaat pictures!

    really great movie!

  • 09.34 ist das wirklich Frankfurt? o_O

  • Klar, mal 'ne eher ungewöhnliche Perspektive. Erkennst du nicht den Opernturm und das PalaisQuartier?

  • also wenn du was altes magst wüdest du Paris lieben

aber Frankfurt ist für moderne skylines in Europa einfach am geilsten<3 FFM

  • rotterdam is the best

  • What is the name of the last song please ?

  • paris is the number two not london ....

  • what you talking about? Paris is a shit hole.

  • ahah london skyline with 2 building stop the joke, la Defense is the first CBD in europe ....

  • There isn't such a thing as an objective view on this subject, 'cause people have different rating standarts, like number of buildings, density, quality, architecture, variability, setting, etc etc. as well as nationalism of course ;)

  • Yeah but Paris is full of rude smelly French people

  • @MrMopeyMan

Since when are the French smelly?

  • @MrMopeyMan Yeah but London is full of rude ugly gap-toothed English people

  • @AttackTheGasStation1 English people in London? LOL the one you met in London must be someone some eastern European cos as far as i know English people do not live in London.

  • @93NTMSupreme ooh people from paris always think they're the best. shut up frenchie. paris is ranked 5 between the largest cities in europe after london, berlin, madrid and rome. thus...london, berlin, madrid and rome are bigger.

  • @Lostinpraslation, I don't think so. Paris is the 2nd biggest city after London (if you take in account the suburb of course). And Madrid is not that big! Your ranks are a big joke!

  • top pics, greatings from poland

  • Oo oke than i said nothing haha the hugue sounds so lame haha.

But verry cool pics and frankfurt is still number one awsome city!

    Great skyline pics of london!!!

  • Thanks! :)

  • WTF the Hague :S Its Den haag ;)

  • Het doet me leed but I only took english names ;)

  • I like Vilnius

  • cool video!

but there are better pictures of the düsseldorfer skyline.

  • Thanks!

Check out my other video for more Düsseldorf skyline pics! But of course all pics are at least 3/5 months old, so some new developments in the "New Media Harbor" are not visible.

  • what u mean with questionable design?

  • I think some of the new projects are a bit boring and don't really fit into the surroundings (esp. the 200m+ proposals) but there are also some nice buildings (like the u/c "De Rotterdam").

  • Good video! Frankfurt has some of the highest buildings I guess..nice contrast with the old... but I think there are more beautiful skylines! by the way... I wonder where Rotterdam will be positioned in a few years..there are 30 new highrise buildings (with +500.000 square meters) to be build in the next 3-4 years....

  • Thank you! Of course there are more nice skylines in Europe like Leeds, Valencia, Lyon, Lille, Milan, Naples, Sarajevo, Dnipropetrovsk, Tallinn, Malmo, Stavanger, Eindhoven, Essen, Cologne, Berlin and some more, but they simply didn't make it into my list :-)

R'dam is really nice for me too, but I'm not so sure about its recent projects (partly questionable design), same goes for Paris.

  • Or did I get you wrong and you just meant that FFM is not on first place for you? If so, forget the first part of my last post ;)

    What would be your #1?

  • yep thats whats I meant.. well I dont know the statistics so well.. meaning number of highrises and height.. but I have to say that the Moscow and Madrid images are quite impressive too... about rotterdam... I live in this city and there is alot of construction going on.. Rotterdam might become the future skyline capital in Europe... and only with a population similar to Frankfurt... Keep up the good work!

  • Rotterdam has a more Vibrant design and not all too fancy or arrogant, but very Dutch Likely style..

  • Rotterdam is on its way, there are even massive projects in development at this moment..

  • Schöner Minimal Sound ;-)

    Aber Frankfurt auf 1? Naja...

  • Thx!

Was wäre denn bei dir auf #1? Discuss! ;)

  • I especially love the evening and night time scenes, with the long shadows, the sunset in the background, and the lights in the buildings glowing in the dark.

    This is a great video!

  • Geil! 5/5

  • gut geworden!

  • thanks, bro!
