Pretty sure that 'horn' is just a horrid attempt at lighting on the...thing... that's on Charmeleon's head. In the Japanese version of the sprite, even from the front (using Bulbapedia as a reference) the elongated part is lighter in color.

For those of you asking him to not play Pokemon Yellow or asking him to post Wifi battles, cut the crap. He clearly stated in one of his previous videos that he will NOT be getting back into the competitive battling scene any time soon, if not, at all. Be grateful that he's even posting videos for you, more or less, videos with a Pikachu in it. If you wanna watch Wifi battles, look for someone else, you jerks.

They gave Charmeleon that spike on his head because if they had just outlined it, it would have no depth, and would just look like a triangle on the back of his head.

Many of the differences of early Pokemon sprites in comparison to the show's depictions don't look right because they were made quickly by people who weren't artists.

The best DS emulator is likely No$gba. If that runs too slow, its probably your computer, not the emulator that is the problem.

if you want to raise squirtle fast ( i assume you know this already) you can put it in the day care then put the emulator speed at like 4000% and run back and forth really fast for about 5 minutes and it should raise around 5-10 levels

LT. Surge must've gotten sick of the game dialogue being so slow and was rapidly clicking the "A" button and in result making the same mistake twice with using Thunderbolt on a Ground Type poke.

I've been through the same mistakes myself but never with moves that wasn't effective at all to a certain type. Not very effective move maybe but never with a move that wasn't effective at all.

Why? TKN's Law of Pokemon Video Games clearly states that as the Generation increases, the quality of the games decreases by an equal magnitude. Because RBY was 10/10, Gen 5 is going to be a completely average 6/10.
