@clevertitletxt You should give the original L&O a try. ...Well, not the ORIGINAL, I guess. The seasons with Sam Waterson and Jerry Orbach. From what I've seen of SVU and CSI, they seem to be more along the lines of proceedural police dramas than the original L&O, which was much more balanced between the legal and police sides (there's a slight bias towards the legal side simply because they're the ones that are in focus in the last half of the episodes). If nothing else, Aftershock is a MUST.
