about 1 year ago I was believing Obama's rhetoric about loosing the war and we should withdrawal. I was inches away to supporting him because he has valid arguments and he "voted against it" to begin with. However, after reading for myself and doing my own research, I have found that, although we were loosing the war, we are now winning it since the last surge. Something he still won't admit to. I wish more people would open their eyes and think for themselves.

I have to say that is the most intelligent speech I have heard the entire election. It's all facts and all truth. Go Obama for putting McCain in his place. Not only that, yeah what about Afghanistan? Obama did say the focus needs to go back to Afghanistan as that is where it came from and we are ignoring that. We are ignoring the present time of this war and no progress is really being made. It would be nice for a positive change in this country for EVERYONE, NOT JUST POLITICS.

This is the first campaign I've been interested in. For most of the time that I've been conscious of politics, Bush has been president, and there's been the war going on. I'm so gald that he came right out and said that he will end the war, instead of dodging around the topic
