this whole scene confused me because for one, it's not in the book. and 2nd, in the 7th book, the burrow is where the whole beginning of the book happens (the will, the wedding), and in the movie, it's as if that scene never happen from the looks of the previews. the burrow is back to normal in the previews...so what was the point of this scene. i mean it's great visually, don't get me wrong, but what was the point of it?

By the way, if you judge these movies SOLELY based on what they add/change/cut, you really shouldn't...These movies are supposed to be an ADAPTION, not a FILM version of the BOOK. If they have to add/cut/change things to help make the movie flow better, so be it. It has to happen. You will never enjoy a film adaption of a book if you judge them based on them being exactly like the souce material.

hey, seriously, I don't want to complain or anything, I know that changes are necessary to make the movie watchable - but only until that doesn't change the main direction and mood of the original book.

my precaution is because I DIDN'T like the latest adaption(the Order of the Phoenix). and not just because of the changes, the movie itself wasn't quite enjoyable for me. and I'm afraid that these changes(whether Rowling planned them or not) won't help me with that if it's gonna be the same way:)

I'm still not entirely sure why people are making so much noise with the Burrow scene. It's not really harming or helping anything. It's giving our characters more screentime and development (Harry and Ginny in particular), and it just stresses the point that the wizard world is at war.

i youve read anything about the movie you d know why they can come to the burrow and that they changed the fight to the burrow to avoid repition in the last movie.

No, it was added to better portray how the Death Eaters are terrorizing the wizarding world. The newspaper clippings of Death Eater attacks were difficult to show naturally in movie form, so this scene was written in with JK's permission. This was announced by WB a year and a half ago.
