  • @wobbegongdivermid90s Perhaps I am a little weeny baby from the 2000, but at least I can tell that this video is more based on "Do you remember this stuff?" Than "Lolz 90's kids unite!" o_e My comment was based around I was younger than you all but have done most of it. So, there's no need to point out the obvious.

  • omg i remember all of these

  • I was born in 1998. I remember watching all of these when I was older. I'm watching them on teenick now.

  • @mya109joi i remember watching these when i was older also

  • I was born almost 7 months into the

90's (I'll be 22 at the end of

July) and most of this stuff I remember!

  • I was born in 1991 so I consider myself a 90's kid. It was the golden age of cartoons. But I think people who were born in during the late 80's are true 90's kids.

  • This is a "bustling" video. =p

  • I was born in 1997 and know half this stuff

  • @smexyvigoro Yea it's all millennium stuff from the early 00s anyway. A lot of 00s kids experienced some of this stuff through what I like to call hand me down pop culture. 90s kids experienced this in the 90s with 80s pop culture.

  • i was born in the late 90's and remember most of this stuff lmfao

  • @monsterbeast897 Most of this stuff is millennium pop culture, which for some reason has become the face of the 1990s. Pokemon, Wild Thornberries, Furbies, all of that stuff was late 90s, early 00s pop culture.

Also, a lot of 90s kids actually experienced late 80s pop culture when they were kids. 80s kids films played on tv, reruns of 80s shows were syndicated in the 90s. I like to call it handmedown pop culture. So 00s kids would experience 90s handmedown pop culture.

  • I remember!

  • Furbies= EVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I remember when too when style wasn't really a pressure..i'd use to just put on my favorite overall jeans and a collar shirt without a t shirt and be good for the day. I remember when high top fades was in style too...but I never got into the whole fades thing ...lol

  • I was born in 1992, so I'm 20 years old this year...therefore no longer a teenager :-D seriously..if your not in your 20's by the end of 2012 then your not a 90's kid..all 90's kids are in their 20's by now...simple as that

  • I wish i was born in the 60's.. so i can party my ass off during the 80's. Born in 95 n i remember all this shit.. Miss it all. 90's were the best!!!!!

  • Haha omg I smiled at fucking everything :,) I miss my childhood were there was no texting or computer, no such thing as perfect just go out and have fun ! Seriously I look at kids that are 7 years old with iPhones and playstations 3 and I feel bad, i use too get up early and watch tv -3 go out and play not care for texting and video games ? Gameboy ;)

  • @XxDjboy227Xx for real! I remember sleeping on the couch Friday nights so I could wake up and watch one saturday morning on the local channels...and I remember when you a missed a tv show you just missed it lol unless you recorded it on vhs or something, cause there was no DVR hahaha and now theres iPods,iPads,iPhones...I dont own an i anything LOL and even now as far as game systems go, I have a wii for the MJE game, but other than that, I have the old Marios downloaded to my wii lol

  • I Was born in 1995, and the 90's brings me back good memories

  • @Xpk951 no the 2000's brings you good memories

  • @jflemingification the 1990s and the 2000s brings me good memories, and that's how i know.

  • @Xpk951 but you're a 2000's kid

  • @jflemingification i'm a 90's and the 2000's kid, and i also like tv shows from the 1980's

  • @jflemingification none of this started in the 2,000s it was a early to mid 90's

of course some of this is still around or on in reruns but that does not mean it is relevant now it was then som 2k kids can,t claim it.

  • @comicbookfan22 i know that

  • Dude Im a teenager right now but I swear I was born a little to late. I wish I was born in 1986 so I had time to enjoy the 90s because thats when things were awsome and lol I have seen or own nearly every thing in this video. Hehe.

    " WHO LOVES ORANGE SODA?"

  • @Ghostwing54024 kel loves orange soda! LOL

  • @Ghostwing54024 Don't wish that, that time wouldn't have made sense to you. I mean 1995 was very primitive in terms of technology. No DVDs, no internet torrents, most people didn't have computers or cell phones and those that did had very primitive 32 bit computers. Just the gaming...they were glorified arcade graphics. Type in Turbografx Splatterhouse to understand what I'm talking about. Can you honestly say you would have wanted to live in that world?

  • @Sshelly34213 i can i miss the 90's like crazy we did not have internet until 2002 but i i would gladly give up my computer and hd tv and x-box to go back i was much happier then i had friends and a girl now when i am not at school i am doing this almost all the time i miss just going out and shooting hoops in my back yard or just sitting out on the porch reading comics and talking about wrestling .

  • @comicbookfan22 Well it's different if you remember that time period I was talking about. I certainly miss those years. I don't have an iphone and all of this technology kind of bores me to an extent.

But a 95er wanting to go back and live in the mid 90s, is like us wanting to live in the 70s or 80s. It may look appealing on the outside, but if you actually stop and think about it, you would be living in a world that was obsolete even before you were born.

  • @comicbookfan22 I personally miss hearing the music on the radio or on tv most of all. Haunting and mesmerizing guitar riffs, trippy and surreal music videos, dark and poetic lyrics. There will never be another 90s musically.

  • @Sshelly34213 yeah i noticed the rest of the conversation after typed my comment and yeah i remember we would take a radio with us when ever we went outside i remember playing ghost in the grave yard and war sometimes until midnight and we had the best music such a versitile selection i guess most of my favorites fall under grunge i liked nirvana alice in chains stp sound garden weezer local h and offspring.

  • @comicbookfan22 Oh wow, ghost in the graveyard...that's the one where you hide and everyone has to find you, right? I remember playing cops and robbers and street hockey late at night. Pretty good times.

I was really into The Offspring and Fastball when I was in middle school, I was too young for grunge, I only remember the stuff my older cousin used to listen to and stuff my brother and I would see on MTV. AIC used to freak my brother and I out and Soundgarden mesmerized me.

  • @Sshelly34213 i remember my teacher asked us what our favorite band when i was in 1st grade and she looked shocked when i said nirvana .

i have always considered soundgarden and stp grunge but i guess a better way to fit all my favorite bands in a genre is to say alternative rock.

and yeah ghost in the graveyard is where you hide and everyone tries to find you before you tag someone else and once you do then that person helps you try to get the others before they figure out who the ghost is

  • @comicbookfan22 Soundgarden is the epitome of grunge, I was referring more to Stone Temple Pilots. I always kind of saw them as grunge lite (to be honest, weren't they kind of a joke to the real metal heads and grungers of that time?) I always loved them personally and looking back on it, they were a great band.

I remember a time where 4 square was really popular in the late 90s where I lived. I think we also played stuff like spud and red light green light.

  • @comicbookfan22 It seemed more communal back then, like everyone of all ages was outside. Now people seem to hoard in their rooms around the computers, which I'm clearly guilty of lol. Still though, I'm an adult and kids today should get out more and invent games.

  • @Sshelly34213 i agree we when i was a kid as soon as cartoons were over at like 12pm i was outside for the majorty of the day breifly coming in to get something to eat until 6 pm on saturday then week days i was outside until dark i would only go in to watch wrestling or if the bulls were playing.

  • @comicbookfan22 Yea. I went in promptly for SNICK on weekends.

My mom had to drag me in the house at night. How I managed to watch any of these shows is beyond my comprehension because I don't know how I stayed in long enough to watch them. I think Nickelodeon played a lot more stuff on their channel way back then and at various times of the day.

Now it's just 4 shows in 3 hour blocks over and over again. How do kids stand this?

  • @Sshelly34213 i don't know it's like every channel shows the same things and yeah i know what you mean with nick it's like dbz powerrangers in an endless loop and i don't know what comes on regular nick during the day because i can't watch that stuff i do watch the 90's are all that though thats about the only thing i will watch on the nick these days my niece loves dora so i have to watch that sometimes

  • @comicbookfan22 I'm so sorry for you, Dora the Explorer is probably the most offensive thing I've ever seen marketed to kids. It treats them like morons.

From 1-6 pm today there will be nothing but Spongebob and Fairly odd parents...that's 5 hours of the same goddamn shows. Then from 6-9 Kung fu panda is on. I haven't even stopped on this channel since the mid 00s, I'm scrolling through the guide on my tv. That's just absurd.

  • @Sshelly34213 i agree but the only thing my niece likes more is elmo but she is starting to like snuggle bear from thos comercials alot.

  • @comicbookfan22 lol Snuggle bear. She'll probably outgrow Dora the Explorer when she gets old enough to realize that it's severely retarded.

  • @comicbookfan22 I'd say the "quintessential 90s sound" would be something like either Soundgarden or Stone Temple Pilots (not really grunge, but still awesome)

  • i was born in 97, idk if that makes me a 90s kid late 90s kid or 00's kid. but i still remember all the cartoons like rugrats, hey arnold, catdog like that. seems you guys (who were born in late 80s or 1900s) have a really amazing childhood memories.

  • @mslovemrwood Yea they played in the early 00s too so a lot of kids watched them then too. I think Hey Arnold was around until 2005. I can remember coming home in high school and just watching marathons of this show.

The mid 90s was a pretty fun time to be a kid. No one really dressed to impressed (thanks to the grunge roll out of bed look) and so there was no pressure to look "perfect" or get the newest fashion fad at that age. I didn't feel that pressure until middle school.

  • @Sshelly34213 ikr. currently, there are so many hi-tech but old cartoons are the best.lmao.

  • @mslovemrwood What does ikr mean if you don't mind me asking lol. Oh yea, nothing beats hand drawn animation, it's just indescribably beautiful. Don Bluth films were always my favorite, I remember seeing Anastasia in theaters and marveling at how detailed and elegant the animation was. (Sure Bluth films have a lot of humorous mistakes in them, but when you stop and think about the immense amount of detail that goes into each scene, it's not a wonder why.)

  • @mslovemrwood I never got into CGI animation, I mean I remember seeing Toy Story in theaters and being kind of turned off by the animation alone. Even though I may have loved some of those CGI films (Toy Story 2, A Bug's Life, The Incredibles) I just never got into the style, I suppose we just need to give CGI some times, it is a new technology. I can remember how primitive it was in the late 90s (The Lost World used early CGI) and it was absurdly unrealistic.

  • @mslovemrwood I guess looking back on it the one draw back was the tech of that period. I remember my brother and I still played with primitive game systems like Turbografx (think arcade graphics-in fact some arcade games had better graphics) until 1995 when we finally got a Super Nintendo. And didn't get a PS until like 1999 and an N64 until 2001. Technology was pretty dull and slow for all of the 90s. The 00s saw a tech explosion that cannot be rivaled.

  • I was born in born on December 31, 1999 on 11:59 pm and I remember 100% of the 90's more than you stupid 80's people.

  • @crazynintendoguy hey kid dont call us stupid you dont remember shit

  • maaaaannn i remember this.. had me a few ferbies and the Lisa Franks were to BOMB!!! and I cant forget the RUGRATS

  • Your video is a favorite on Bolivia

  • 1980-2000- 100%

    1983-2000- 92%

    1986-2000- 83%

    1989-2000 -75%

    1992-2000- 62%

    1995-2000-40%

    1998-2000-less than 20%

    Probably very wrong but owell...

  • does any one remember Captain Planet and the Planeteers?

    loved that show

  • i remember the day my tamagatchi fell in the toilet.. i was so sad

  • i was born in 1987, so yeah guess i'm a 90's kid, bloody miss those days:(

  • I loved this video, damn those furbies! '95 <3

  • @Yesweiner9 those things never shut the fuck up! Mines motor caught on fire lol

  • @Mat2me9999 What the hell!? lol you should've taken a picture, that would have been super hilarious

  • Comment removed

  • I was born in 1994, unfortunately, i'm a 2000's kid. I wish I had been a 90's or even an 80's kid, because nowadays everything sucks, life must've been so much fun back in those days.

  • @ParisSud91 Why? You have good memories from the early 00s, so why would wish that? 90s kids had to play video games with primitive graphics. Don't believe me? Go type in Splatterhouse Turbografx on youtube and see what I'm talking about. Also, 90s kids did not really have computers or the internet (unless your parents worked in that field or were wealthy) Only 50% of the population had a computer by the year 2000. We didn't get a comp until I was 10 and internet until I was 12/13.

  • @ParisSud91 And then badass cell phones, when I was a kid no one had a cell phone. Seriously, if you had a cell phone it was a sign of wealth and it was big and clunky. Most people had beepers and even then, you probably didn't have anything at all. Some people were just starting to get portable phones and that was the big technological leap then.

You can get any music, films, tv shows you want on the internet for free. You can talk to people from different countries, google, etc.

  • @ParisSud91 And then digital cable alone is totally worth it. The 90s was more of a tv centric decade imo, I can remember tv being a smorgasbord for anything you could ever want to watch. This is not the case anymore because the internet has usurped its place. With tv there was a huge limitation on what you could watch, now you can google a film, find a streaming video, and watch it. The internet was a new frontier in the 00s that is slowly becoming regulated. Enjoy it while you can

  • This video just made me remember how old I really am. I am a 80's kid I remember this and a whole lot more. Thanks for the memories, Nice video :)

  • I miss my spiral shoe laces :(

  • Furbies were da bomb!! ;-)

Magic School Bus is from the 90s?! I never saw it on tv, I know it now cuz my little sisters watch it on DVD.

  • I remember alot of these things. BUT I dont consider myself a 90's kid. I was born 1997 but all these things I remember is because my sister is a 90's kid. All those old tv shows. Sometimes I break out in the Prince of Bel-Air theme some of my friends are kinda like wut??

  • I remember back in 2011 there were pointless arguments about who was a 90's kid or not.

    It's 2025 and people today are arguing about who's a 10's kid!!??

  • hell yea

  • Hell yes, I remember all this! ^^! (Original episodes of Rugrats, you mean prior to Kimi and Dil?!)

  • gotta say the old c-band satellite and surge was my greatest memory of the 90's oh and yes PRIMESTAR cant forget that

  • before sex was included in every song! >=l

  • @MrsArmenta619

    Oh there was...

    Ever heard these:

    Baby Got Back

    My Name Is

    Big Poppa

The 90's were a time when sex started to be more and more open to the public.

  • i ALMOST CRIED! MISS THE 90'S

  • I actually have two bottles of Surge with the seal intact (old style, dated 1996). Could be time to sell them, what with the '90s revival going on and such. Still smells like the drink I knew and loved.

  • I was born in '98 and i remember everything besides that drink.

  • what about zambomofu nigga and when hulk hogan was nwo

  • Born in 1991....90's were the SHITSKI..waking up at 9am to watch One Saturday Morning while eatin my Captain Crunch SAAAAN

  • does 1998 count

  • @cplegogame25 You were a year old when the 90's ended...so no.

  • @cplegogame25 I see anyone born in the late 80s, 90s as part 00s kid anyway. 89-91/92 are half and half, the rest are all just full 00s kids. You're a late 00s kid who probably can remember a bit of the early 00s.

  • 90s kid is for people who were little kid's during that time. It's just a label. I was born in 1993 and I remember all of this! The video made me smile.

  • this is for 90's kids that were born in 86 to 87..I would say 88 as well..I was a 86 baby and i remember akmost everything in this compilation.

  • How can you say your a 90's kid?! i was born in 1983 i remember the 90's way better than you!

  • 90's kids? how can you claim to be a 90's kid when you weren't even born when vanilla ice came out with ice ice baby!

  • i was born in 94 to introduce myself. i dont think the kids born in the late 90s and 2000s onwards really missed anything because the stuff from the early 2000s i experienced that the late 90s babies onwards didnt experience as a kids are now just getting discovered by them now because of the internet services so i dont know what ppl are talking about. Hell i was talking to a 13 year old freshman born in 98 about spongebob and rocket power which he was too young to remember in the early 2000s.

  • Born in 1989. Almost all of this rings a bell. I can say this... there will likely never be another decade like the '90s

  • i remember most of this even though i was born 97. so i didnt have a smart enough head till the 99s or so. it was still popular early 2000's so screw it. youre a 90s kid if youre born in the 90s. not really if you remember all this. this just says, "21 century is crap". which is sooo true....

  • :') lmaoo this brings back memories..

  • born in 93. and i remember about 95 percent of this. i also had the luxury of having 3 older siblings

  • Senri23 one word AWESOME!!!!!

  • OOOOMG tang!! I remember tang the most. I use to think that I would turn into an astronaut if i drank it. (1991)

  • the funny thing was i just saw the EXACT post on facebook an hour ago! hahaha

  • 195 youngins are some hating ass bitches cause they didn't grow up in the 90s! Us 90s kids still rule

  • This made me cry. I miss the 90's so much. Things just aren't how they used to be and the kids of this generation don't have the same aweasome things that we did.

  • nirvana all the way!!!!!!!!!!

  • Born in 1991! I remember 99 percent of this stuff! Isn't today so much better than back then? NOT!

  • @ilovemymilitary agreed!...born in 1992 so i remember about 97% and it was much better back then

  • 1983 here and I'm all about the early to mid '90s (1990 - 1996). Congrats if you remember those days.

  • @WebsterJake How do you equate the mid 90's as the first 6 years of the decade?

  • @playoffexpert1 I don't. That comment reads "early" to mid '90s (1990-1993 being early and 1993-1996 for mid).

  • @WebsterJake Whoops, I totally read over that early part lol. Sorry about that.

  • @playoffexpert1 No biggie :)

  • @WebsterJake Well I was born in 1993, so sorry xD

  • Actually paused the video to finish, 'in west philidelphia born and raised...' hahaaa

  • Oh hells to the yeah I was a fuckin'g 90's kid! All that stuff you posted in your vide I remembered!

  • those lunchable tacos were disgusting

  • @her0nn Are you kidding? I loved those

  • Im 25 and I was tearing up watching this

  • Original power rangers was the shit, born in 1991 myself. and i remember everything on this vid.

  • Being a 90s kid is about what you remember. Not when you were born. C'mon people! (unless you were born in 1999).

  • @fatjack421 Then what's the point of the phrase "90s kid" if it's not about when you were a kid for the most time? Every kid remembers subjective things, so the idea of basing it on "what you remember" is bullshit.

Notice how most of this video is millennium pop culture? These mid 90s born kids are not late 90s, early 00s kids. I am a late 90s, early 00s kid. I was born in 1988, that is my childhood, things were marketed to my demographic not theirs. They just want to be a part of it.
