Been maining Bow and SnS since MHF2 and was an "okay" hunter.

Then I tried using lance and EVERYTHING became so much easier and fun.

what lance is a very good lance for G rank?

@ukanlos71 Well, even though Darkness is AMAZING, it lacks the raw power of others. In a group, use Darkness, when by yourself your best be is Rising Tempest (full upgrade of the Diablos lance line) its got 736 attack... but -20% affinity (and you need sharp+1 to get it to purple) another great lance is Black Rain Darkness (G rank narga one) which has 50% aff, and 552 atk (and natural purple). But, really, at your rank youl probs want good elemental lances. but in my case darkness all the way ^^

@DanDaMan901 yea im in G rank 3 and I got the nagura lance, the one all the way, well I used agaisnt a solo diablos (black) and time ended, should I use the diablos lance or you got another suggestion xD

@ukanlos71 hmm... considering that's one of the best lances in the game, it shouldn't be a problem. What armour are you using...? I suggest something with evade +2 and sharp sword. Also, personally, i wouldn't really recommend lance for diablos. Mabey try something like greatsword or hammer? (By the way, an armour set i would reccomend is a mix of obituary and ceantaur/diablos z (which is clearly impossible for you to get atm X D)

@ukanlos71 That armour is great! I wish i could get it but... that bloody heavenly scale -.-... also, i would make a video but i dont have cfw, so I cant record... sorry lol. I think all you really need is a bit more practice ^_^

I actually have two other people that play mh, but one is a hr1 HBG user... and the other is a HOPELESS hr6 longsword user, who is not only really annoying in his deaths, knocking me over, hitting me as im carving and constant ragequits, he has pretty much given up because hes stuck on the shen gaoren urgent -.- (i refuse to help him cos hes too bloody lazy to get a dragon/fire/high raw weapon, and expects me to do the quest for him X D)

Not exactly true, 2 main examples are White and Crimson Fatalis.

White only goes into hard-skin-mode when he lost enough life!

The crimson goes evrytime in rage mode in HSK! =O

you can get brain stems from any narga, even the chief one

I've killed 11 high rank narga's and got 1 brainstem, then i've killed 3 grank and got 3 :P Oh , i've got 3 hvnly's too in 3 runs :P LUCKY xd

why dont u use cats??? my cat lays shock traps for me and they can heal u, raise attack and defence via demon/armor flutes, heal with hp flutes, cure poison with antidote flutes...at the very least they distract the monsters a lot, besides, they dont cost much...theres no real reason NOT to use one...

There's only one reason:

They distract the monster.

I hate it when the monster wont attack me, it would rather go after my goddamn cat.

If i wanted to play in a party, I'd play with mates.

for me, thats only true if i have like a trap set up and i want the monster to go after it...besides, the cats so weak, he dies in like, 2 hits. not like it matters that much...although my cat did just trip a copper blangonga in one hit >.>...

rofl, i dont put monsters to sleep so i can attack them when their down (or at least not much), so i never have that problem :p, as for the bomb thing, my cat dies alot so he doesnt really have time to blow up my bombs :p

No offense Bothamliam but why didnt u use charge? If ur far away from the naruga kuruga u dont have to seathe ur weapon and sprint to it, no, use the lance charge and charge at the Naruga Kuruga!!! Its powerful, though it drains ur stamina quite fast, but since u ate a maga juice, that wouldn't be a problem, rite?

Good job. It's a bit of pain to Lance Naruga without guard+ or evade+.

P.S. I don't think High Grade Earplug is needed though.

HGE isnt needed, only lwo grade. Only reason i have it was because i dont have any other sets that dont have evade + 2 >_>
