The war in the middle east is because Iran hates the U.S and Israel. The U.S knew somewhere over there was nukes, and wanted to rid of them before they were sent off. Also to establish democracy. Ouch...I haven't been in the military long but I have a few friends that have been lost in combat and this really touches down hard god bless the soldiers and keep them all safe and hopefully all my fellow brothers and sisters serving world wide will return home to their loving familys. Hooah.

It always amazes me how patriotic you Americans are. And I, as a Canadian, will always be grateful for that. This letter touched my heart and soul and when life gets busy,and I forget the world's trials and tribulations, I will come back to this and listen to it again. Just to remind myself how good I have it. God bless the family of this soldier and I know God is watching over them. God love all you military folks, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This man was a soldier but obviously from this letter, he knew what love is. It always sheds a tear in my eye when I hear this, and to think that other soldiers are in the same situation. Up most respect for our U.K. troops, U.S. and every other man and woman over there, doing a difficult job in harsh circumstances.

This is the saddest thing i have ever seen. I have a brother that is going over to iraq in less than a month and im so scared that he won't come home. He is a great soldier but i am just scared that he will make a wrong move and get killed. I love this video and the letter was very well written i bet his family misses him dearly and i feel for those who have lost someone they love over in iraq.

USA attacked iraq on the premise (excuse) of WMD's (never found any). USA wanted to control the oil fields.

I am a retired Marine Vet. and Any branch of the arm forces gives their lifes for their country.. it isnt about what branch you're in because we all give our lifes the same.. and this letter and Many other i have heard or seen a fellow soldier write made me cry.. but a soldiers last words have and always been i love my family and my country..
