This disease is in no way funny & I could see the anguish he went through inside! Docs put such people on very heavy drugs that keep them like zombies, almost to the point of not being unresponsive. Why most of them never take it! He would become very agitated like Maia seems to but his could very bad.
At times we were afraid of him because the mind is so fragile in this state, we never knew what he might do. If we did not react to his wants in the way he thought we should, he got hostile! In his right mind, he would never have been that way. One day was a bad day that ended up with my mother shooting & killing him, she was never arrested since it was ruled justified. Update. I just read on blackweb2.0 that as of Tuesday 9/8 she is in treatment. She's been going downhill for years, and then her mom died in 2006, and now she's fallen hard! This has been going on and only getting worse. I think that this recent video made people realize that she really needs help...and somebody or persons stepped up to get her the help that she desperately needs! I'm keeping you in my prayers Maia.
