Sounds incredible. How many key splits can you get with the prophet? Can I have 4 different sounds layed out on the keys? EG: Bass, Lead, Pad & Synthesised Kick drum?
@aikighost Hey thanks. Each patch has two layers (A and B). You can either split these on the keyboard or stack them. So you can only do two sounds split on the keyboard.
I've probably listened to that beast of a patch about 10 million times now. Quality sound, quality playing, really dig it. Can't wait to get my Prophet!
@eugenepark81 Hey, I don't remember the details, but it's all about the filter. Set the filter env to have a pulse feel (short attack, mid decay, 0 sustain and release). Then have one the sequencers modulate the filter cutoff (this is what is at the core of the sound). The sequencer steps were pretty randomly set until I got something musical. Just play around with this and you should be able to get something similar. Good luck!
@NightfurMusic hey, IIRC it doesn't cover any synth buttons but it does stick out a little bit off the edge (the prophet 08 has very little room to spare, lots of knobs).
@dslsynth I love shimmer and blackhole (and the others), they're definitely not your grandmother's reverb algorithms and don't work on everything, but what they do work on they work on beautifully. I don't really use its MIDI that much so I'm not familiar with the implementations. Cheers.
Love this one. Great little tune!

Don't be talkin' smack about my grandmother's reverb algorithms.

any chance you can share that prophet 08 patch or the details of how it's made?

Does the Space fit on the P08 without hanging over or covering synth buttons?

I deserve a good kick in the face for selling my Prophet '08.

Thanks for the cool demo! Looks like Shimmer to me. What do you think about Blackhole?
The Eventide Space sounds very well and is really fun to play with. But its MIDI implementations seems overwhelmingly unimpressive so far.

Very nice reverb sound - I like the Prophet 08, too! You get a warm sound out of the Prophet by using it.

@Stue007 Yeah it's a love/hate type of synth. It can be very warm, you just have to work a little harder at it. Thanks for watching!
