Yes, I understand that. But then if you do play tuned down should you call a B, when you play it where you would play it if you were not tuned down a B. Shouldn't it be a b flat. If I am playing with a piano player, or bassist, or another guitrarist and I doubt they would all tune doen, shouldn't you call it out as a b flat. You call out the chords as if you were tuned standard.

Why do you tune a half step down. It looks like you have 9 or 10's on the guitar. Most who tune down will use very heavy strings so they need to to keep the neck with proper tension and to be able to bend the heavy strings. So not sure why you do? Is it the cool thing to do? Also if you play i the e position with that tuneing, you are playing e flat.

track a little down hill so it will be easy to run faster,
I think that singing guitarist that are not exactly great singers do that because they can't handle

if the guitar was tuned in Eb the scale is the Eb minor pentatonic and not E minor
