@TOUGHxBASTURD-- Thank you for theGREAT QUESTION! No, they are NOT full grown in this video. They were only 1 year old when this was filmed and have 2 more years to grow. They will be about 3 times this size. ALL micro, mini, teacup, nano pigs grow larger than expected--- well over 50 pounds up to 150+ pounds. Thanx again!
@prissyandbombershow Not all mini pigs weigh 50-100 pounds. I adopted my mini pig from a breeder. Her father was 20 pounds and her mother was 40 (breeder and pregnant)
I guess it depends on their breeding and overfeeding.
@CheyBaybee-- Hello dear, I noticed from ur videos that u seem 2 have recently gotten ur piglet just last month. Please update me regarding its in 3 years when it is fully grown. Many times breeders are not honest about the fact that the parents are still young and not themselves fully grown. It is very, very rare to have a full grown mini pig at 20 pounds as seen by the thousands that have been abandoned at rescues online, please see websites of ironwood; pigs peace; noahs ark; pigasus, etc.
@prissyandbombershow Yea I know most of them will get pretty big but a regular pot belly is 150-200. If the "mini" pig is almost the same then its not really mini. My pig is about 20 pounds right now and seven months old. Her parents were two and three years old (mama was three). I don't think she would have lied to me because she wasn't a "pay thousands for my mini pig" breeder. The pig I bought (whom was already 5 months old) was $30 unsocialized, 150 for bottle babies, and 200 for tiny males.
@CheyBaybee-- hello again dear, yes I began the range at 50+ lbs as most all minis/micros/nanos either reach or exceed this weight. Yes ur right they really aren't mini if they're 100+ pounds & that's the problem- many pigs being sold really aren't mini as described! About ur piggy #1 no parent should be bred at 2 years old (should actually be 4yrs to ensure full growth). #2. If he's already 20 pounds at 7 months he will likely be over 50 pounds at fully growth-- please keep us updated dear!
@prissyandbombershow Yea I'm sure she'll get about 50 pounds, but that's mini to me (: I don't care as long as she stays the same. She's SO calm and easy-going. Her only problem is getting into everything.
And yea, it makes me mad how many people claim to have "minis" but are really going to get huge because that only hurts the pig when it ends up abandoned because it got too big. But I'll love my piggy no matter what her size (: Your videos are amazing.
@CheyBaybee- Thanx so much for liking our vids! You're a good mommy to love your pig no matter what and I wish more people were like you! Have you decided on a name for your piggy yet? We'd love for you to keep us updated on her, maybe you can contact us on FB under Prissy and Bomber to keep in touch :D!
@prissyandbombershow Yes they're amazing because I got my pig when she was already five months old so I had a hard time getting her to trust me and now she's bonded with me but she still wont do things like follow me outside, if she gets loose I have to corner her to catch her. Its a process, but its worth it.
Her name is Olivia because she has Olive colored eyes (:
@CheyBaybee-- Lol don't feel bad because pigs often DON'T follow! Ours usually come only if they think they're going to get a treat, if we don't have a treat in hand then getting them to come when called is often hit or miss. Your such a good mommy to hang in there through this process :D!
@prissyandbombershow Haha thanks! Its been a process. She was very shy when I brought her home so it took some time to warm her up. In the house she's fantastic. I wish I would have gotten her younger though because I never got the chance to leash train her or anything, she gets so upset if I try to leash walk her and I don't like to upset her so I try and not do it. I guess I cave in too easily. LOL

Too cute! Do your pigs swim? I read that pigs are great swimmer, but I tried to teach mine to swim and she sank straight to the bottom! True too that they're a lot of work, but so worth it if you have the patience.
@tigeress66-- Thanks so much for your comment! You are right that pigs are a lot of work but worth it if you have the patience-- heavy on the patience. Pigs are generally great swimmers in the wild but if they are spoiled house pets like mine they kind of shy away from doing so. This is likely due to general fear as I don't take them near the beach very often and they haven't seen or learned from other pigs who can swim. Thanks again!
This calls for a wee bit of discipline: you need to catch him in the act, say "No!"; squirt with water bottle; put him in his litter box; then confine him alone near his litter box for 10 minutes. In time these episodes will lesson a great deal BUT pigs WILL have occasional accidents throughout their lifetime, just be prepared for this for the next 20 years and understand that it is normal. Like little children they get excited and sometimes can't hold it, they truly are like toddlers! :D
Hey, So i got my pig last week (i commented on your other vlog a few weeks ago). He is about 7 weeks old. I'm wondering if you could offer any advice on potty training. When he is in the kitchen he will use the litter box %100 of the time, but sometimes we let him out of the kitchen and into the living room (because he gets sad and whines like a dog when everyone is in the living room and he isn't) he wont go back to the kitchen to use the litter box. Any tips and advice on raising a pig would
