  • in singapore... u no money, u are dog!

  • 没一个懂得写华语真是可悲

  • i know a singaporean prostitute working in SGH by day and hooker at nyt but she is PEI-SHEUN YU mistress of KIKO LUCENA old man working in RED DYNASTY PAINTBALL who submit fake certificate in MOM.Pei sheuns father os a member of the parliament but shes a maniac...

  • when god wrote that person is gonna die.. they will die in any condition... we cant blame all to the staffs of the hospital... im now a male student nurse... being in hospital for practical showed me the tru condition of the staff r overwhelmed by patiens.. theres not enough medical staffs sometimes in a particular hospital... 1 nurse sometimes have to take care of more than 12 patient... feel it.. the u all will know..

  • Hospital is a good investment, when e global economy doing bad the healthcare stil make money. And there will always be a special treatment 4 the rich 1. Nothing is fair in life. 4 those involed in e case tk note, there always be retribution.

2 e family who lost their love 1,stay strong

  • These people only care for themselves. They don't care for the people who did all they can to saves lives. I myself work in a Hospital find that very stupid and immature. My father died in a hospital too but that dosen't give me a reason to blame the medical staff.

  • ya u ppl as a public shld be considerate enug to the nurses or healthcare staff over here...

singapore goverment with all those quality service bt they shld consider this pitiful healthcare staff...luckily for me im over 2 a country who respect nurses, who sees nurses as an angel saving ppl life..

    best regard...

  • I am a student btw, and just to comment.

Did you know that the healthcare staff in Singapore are overwhelmed??? Sometimes, its 1 nurse to 14 patient. This is really a bad situation when you compare it overseas with countries like Australia and UK where the nurse to patient ratio is around 1 nurse to 8patients.

My sympathies is with the patient. But we can't blame the staff. Its the system. No nurse, doctor, or anybody in the healtcare line wants people to die...

  • Which hospital is this again?

  • if the family is one of the ELITES, this incident wouldn't even happen in the 1st place!

you want how many bags of blood also have!

  • Sometime i cannot tahan the follow the law thing. With best regard.

  • After what they say in the new vid, they r simply slaping their own mouth. They firstly said they did not ask for more blood and did not need approval to use any amount of blood. But now they admit to it. Everyone knows surely the staffs said something that makes him gather 200 ppl. Now the question is why did they lie and what r the punishment for the lie?

  • I would like to believe that it's misinterpretation of some sort.

It would simply be illogical to think that they would deny a dying woman help.

  • Let the dead rest in peace.

It was juz another unfortunate case and hospital had tried their best.

  • It is the fault of the frontline staff who gave the wrong info to the family of the deceased.

    see ...............watch?v=6yJR7jfGqQk

Soe of these clerks and nurses, they are really too much.

  • Do u know that the medical staff in Singapore is overhelming? One nurse has to take care up 8 patients. I find your comment very narrow minded and immature. I work in CGH. Before U say CGH is too much, Maybe U should try working in a Hospital and take care up to 8 patients. When someone complain against u, Let see how you feel. Are you willing to do a hospital job? If you don't, You have no right to say that the clerk and nurses are too much.

  • In Singapore, it is safer to JUST FOLLOW LAW. I think the authorities should have a USE YOUR HEAD campaign to correct this sickness in our culture.

  • so dun compare us with developing countries. pple does that to make themselves feel good or look good. is like the same case like you will go around comparing results(esp if u got dist) with ur lecturermates.

i seriously feel for the family lah...

  • cardboard! n mind u, is nt those nice nice karang guni uncles, who fold them up nicely. rather, is those pasar malam, esp during rainy days, those near the big bins with discarded type of cardboards that is soggy, soft soft n tore dirty n stinko wif tons of flies on top?

    GOD! try eating that.

of coz, im not trying to say i will eat if the cardboard is clean, i wouldnt eat it either way, thats unless im in the last stage of fear factor.(n i better win!)

  • most, we just swear n move on n find another1. the fact tt they are throwin their dyin patients is, if u dont do it, there are like tons of pple out there who are willing 2tk up that job in order 2survive.n ytd the channel8 news was saying about their meatbun was a ratio of 4:6.. n you know wats the other ingredient?

  • *i feel crazy sayin tis, (i think i studied 2much sociology n psych.) but is like "maslow's law thingy?" our basic is already being covered (or at least pple in youtube, since u got money 2surf) 4other countries, it isnt very much the case. we are much educated. we dont haf2 "physically fight" 4our jobs?

  • yah..maslow's hierarchy of needs..BASIC needs for survival and for the wellbeing of huma beings..

  • Another miscommunication story - read the thursday news - there was enough blood supply.

  • wah jtgfisherman, u here to show that PAP also online izzit? shucks i hate this, they are turning singaporeans against singaporeans

  • I think jtgfisherman is just being mature and subjective while the rest are nusy pointpointing who is to take up the blame.

Reading his previous comments, he had reminded readers of his comment that there was no clear evidence the lady was denied of blood because she was not of upper class.

  • I wonder ... they need to pay 7% GST for their hospital bills or not?

  • Since got working hours to save lives, then it should be proposed that the A&E department be operational only from 8am to 5pm. Like this can save overheads and costs and increase profit. Any admissions after working hours must fill out forms in triplicate, photocopy both sides, submit to Admissions Department, CC to Finance and Operations and take 3 workings days to process. After hours levy of 1.5 times the normal hospital charges apply!

    Go go go Singapore Inc!

  • Wow jtgfisherman, you must feel very strongly about this issue joining Youtube (date joined: July 11 2007; videos watched: 1) just to post your THREE comments... How are you connected to the PAP?

  • IF only there were as much RED TAPE when it comes to PAP mini$ars getting their regular dose of obscene salary increments on top of their out of this world salaries!

  • Hmm this happened in SG where the dead is a auto organ donar unless opt out. U think they are killing off the ppl to get the organs? A frightening thought.

  • Lastly, Singapore's hospitals are not money-generating machines - at least not the worst ones around. Have you been to Malaysia? You need to bribe them to get a hospital bed. What about China? I heard they throw dying patients out if they are unable to pay.

  • I dont understand why the civil servants salary can be benchmarked to the top 8 highest income group, and yet be considered providing good service by comparing themselves with developing countries.

  • Please dun compare with other countries. We just need to settle our very own issues. If you like to compared, why not reduce the ministers pays to be the same of the malaysia or china?

I'm getting more and more sickening living in Sinkapore. yucks!

  • exactly, wats with the comparing?

the fact that we are in spore? if you really wan to compare, compare us with the developed countries. not developing~

  • Simply put, it was solely a problem of red tape, not of politics (at least not yet proven). The blood bank had set a bottom limit that the doctor followed as a mandatory requirement. We don't know if the doctor tried getting the important person to sign, anyway.

  • Please do not blame everything on the PAP - there is hardly any proven link between them and this issue, is there? Furthermore, there is nothing in the report that claims that the woman was denied the blood because she was not of the upper class.

  • You can save your papaya ball carrying. No one is stupid to believe your nonsense

  • This is terrible. What's with the red tape behind getting BLOOD to save lives!?

  • this is wht we get for not being rich in singapore, we got to be rich and be somebody in order to live. pui

  • Someone is dying and they say "in order to get more blood to save your wife, fill out this form, attach relevant photocopied documents and wait for someone importants signature"

and possibly someone important is having prata.

    very sad..

  • what is singapore becoming... i put the blame on the government... they made hospitals into a money generating machine

  • Sad that senseless death happened because of a class system. I really feel for the family, especially when they did everything to try and her. When there is a life threatening emergency everyone should be treated equal.

  • multi-millionaire khaw should come out to give an explantion

  • *Ahem*

"Peasant, u die iz ur own biz!"

Too bad. Had the woman been a 'somebody', even SIA planes could be converted to flying hospitals.

  • I want to slap the staff at the blood bank a hundred times, and hope that everyone who sees that person do the same thing too. What is a disfigured face compared to a lifetime of misery for the husband and twins of the deceased?

  • is there an english version of this news report?
