My Beagle howls if he sees something outta place, for example I was walking him and he saw a bed mattress in someones garden that's normally not there and started howling and barking to let everyone know "it shouldn't be there, this is my neighbourhood. You better not be here again." He stands there not moving it's hilarious.

I think there's a higher frequency range in harmonicas that dogs can hear, that's what makes them howl all sad like. :)

Ah, I remember thats what my beagle did when we first got him. Too bad it didn't last long since we adopted him when he was 1-years-old going on 2. He also won't play with me as much as he did, but he will if I get him riled up.

Yeah, I play with him every day and take him on walks regularly. The hardest part is not rewarding him for begging at the dinner table. Those big brown eyes are hard to resist.
