  • "CaptionmAAAX" xD

  • :)ghjk

  • I can't watch with this woman talking the whole time.

  • @T0esteh:

You are free (and able) to WATCH another version, but if you were visually impaired you would welcome the opportunity to LISTEN to, and understand, a version without needing another person there to describe it to you.

It's only by the luck of the draw that you can see, so go watch another version and appreciate the fact that you CAN.

  • @kathy04092 If you were visually impaired, why would you be surfing for videos on youtube?

  • @allute

For the same reason you would - curiosity and entertainment.

There are many things that can be appreciated simply by listening to them.

Remember, visually impaired people are just that - people like you or me.

My husband likes to be considered a guy who just happens to be blind,

rather than the blind guy. It doesn't define him - it just changes the way he interacts with his environment, just as a person who is deaf can still appreciate TV with closed captioning. Food for thought..

  • @kathy04092 I'm not questioning the humanity of those who can't see or hear. I'm simply pointing out the fact that, at a rough estimate from WHO's statistics, only 3% of the world's population is blind. Given that such a small percentage are blind it can be reasoned that even a smaller percentage of those deemed blind would be using a computer to look-up and watch an Alfred Hitchcock movie on youtube.

  • Again, why not? Do you turn the sound down when on You Tube? Sound is part of the experience,no?

The main & really neat thing about this is that in this specific moment,I actually DID do EXACTLY a search for voice descriptive movies for the visually impaired, and here is part of one! What makes that so great is that my brother can experience watching parts of a movie in this way. Yesterday I didn't know this was available, today I do & can let him know in case he wants to check it out.

  • @T0esteh It's for the blind, as I understand it, as well as the deaf.

  • @T0esteh Then why are you watching this version of it, stupid?

  • @alexjohnc3 he COULDN'T or did you not read his problem?

  • @T0esteh you can't... but the blind people can :)

  • @camillobian no they also prefer a male narrator

  • @T0esteh then request a man.

  • Keep up good work! I can't wait for Gulliver's Travel, please do it for me. Thanks!
