I work at similar plants in the UK and am probably one of the few viewers to comprehend what you are showing. In fact it is very similar to ours but on a much larger scale. We have three rectangular tanks like these at Camberley. Most sewage plants here use rotary tanks with a scraper going round continuously that draws the sludge into the centre at the bottom so it can be pumped out.
