I've only had two mice bite my in all the seven years I've been keeping them. And they were just scared.

I also had a mouse once that would bite everyone BUT me :\

But the most recent two mice I got weren't that tame to start with, and they've never bitten me. My mom has rats, and they don't bite either. So I think both mice and rats can be tamed easily.

I had a mouse she was called Lady she died 3 years later from old age.It was very sad.And the saddest part is before she died she actully licked me then fell asleep on my shoulder then the next day i found her curled up in a ball and still warm but she died. :( Rip Lady i'll never forget you.

If you work with them, they are very tame.

Sugar would just sit on my hand. They're pretty active and you have to be careful, but I've never come across a domestic mouse that bit.

I have a domestic mouse that has bitten me (and drawn blood), but considering the circumstances, I don't blame the poor thing.

He was new at the time and was being terrorized by the cat (cat knocked his cage over and was chasing him all over my floor, he bit me when I caught him by trapping him with my hands).

i rescued an orphen deer mouse and taking care of it. if we left it would die because it's mum is dead and our cats would kill it! (The nearly found him/her but we caught it b4 they found him/her)

living in my old rat cage, which is suitable for rats mice and gerbils)

This is so obviously a mouse, and a very beautiful mouse I have to say :)

One comment though: that cage is much to small for mice (although I once saw one of these being advertised as suitable for guinea pigs :|) Anyway, to small for mice. Also it is a bad idea to keep mice alone. They need other mice for social interaction, when kept alone they become lonely and unhappy. Humans just won't do for mice, we are suitable for providing food, water, clean bedding - and occasionally a new wheel :P
