One thing people don't seem to notice is... Birth By Sleep takes place BEFORE the others. As in, Vanitas could have been reborn as a good guy known as Sora!

not really, i mean it takes place before sora got the keyblade, but as the reborn thing. thats a no. kairi, sora, and riku are alive during all this in birth by sleep, they are only about 5 and six. terra and aqua meet riku and kairi. ventus meets sora near the end after ventus falls into his eternal slumber.

The connection between Ven and Sora, happened during Ven's Destiny Islands visits.
