It was a nice full round sound during that drill.  Some nice balance too. No intonation issues, sounds like the arrangement was written in comfortable playing range.

I don't believe in downing other programs but. . .I think WSSU would have gone again IF they would have received. . . .the POPULAR votes. NCCU and A&T had the same MOTIF idea. They both opened and ended with there own prospective pieces. So for NCCU and FAM to think of making a car to bust the windows out of was expected.

Stop all this NCCU FAMU argument. Did famu write the song? Everybody knows that NCCU's director is from FAMU. Does it surprise you that he will bring some things with him to NCCU? No some band members and alumni don't like it, but he is the leader. It is possible to come up with the same idea off that song. Central did a great job.

After watching this, I have mixed feelings. I'm a FAMU alum, and this band sounds really well balanced, etc. But I don't know whether to feel honored that I see quite a bit of FAMU's 08 classic show in this, or not? No disrespect but I generally expect it with H.S. bands but??? I watched part two first and looked at the dance routine and saw a little bit of biting but you know just a bit but now this drill has me with all kinds of conflicted feelings? I'll just say well done on the music...

Actually NCCU did this formation on 11/22/08 at a football game so how could they steal something they already did and also nobody is worried about A&T cause everybody knows they added a bunch of people so they can put on a good show at honda and central don't really need to because they come back to honda every year for the past five years since there the best independent band. Finally central wants to be more like a "white college band" as you can see the pit and choral/traditional marching.

No I didn't mean it like that its that they focus on dynamics and balance like white bands which is good while most hbcu bands focus on loudness. Also, regardless of all the comments NCCU did put on a good original show at honda.

Why is it that when a band is focusing on dynamics and balance, it's always referred to as "white". I'm sick of that bullshyt. A good band has all the tricks in its pocket--ff, pp, cresc., dim., etc., as well as characteristic tone quality and blend. Any band can play ff, but can you do it with characteristic tone, control, balance, and blend? It's nothing wrong with screaming or playing ff, but can you slot the pitches without sliding up to it? Sound professional, or make the attempt!!

i will agree with part of that, NCCU played really good, i liked the drill, but the music was kinda iffey, but A&T, u gottta look at some obvious stuff like how A&T has about NOOO dynamics, i do like em its just they play (FFF) all da time, and it be all outa tune most of the time, FAMU the poison ish, im not a real big fan of FAMU cuz the big as hell and EVERYBODY thinks that makes them better, idk y BCU/B-CC wasnt there cuz they woulda slayed FAMU
