How to rebore a Rifle Barrel

That seems like that would compromise the strength of the barrel. Can someone shed some light on this?

@masterskiier06 You would only re chamber to a caliber where pressures wont exceed the limitations of the current barrel. If this is kept in mind, it is as safe as can be.

@stang4lyfe07 Actually, reboring a barrel is a very specialized process. Very, very few custom gunsmiths actually do it themselves, instead electing to use 3rd party specialists like Cliff LaBounty.

What I wanted to see Larry do is convert it from rimfire to centerfire.
