This film is actually really good. The first story is about the role of women in Japan, and a woman questions her useful/worthiness in the house. The second is about how foreigners are seen in Japan which is depicted by a homeless foreigner trying to survive in Tokyo's chaos. The third is about the advance of technology and the laziness of some Japanese. This is shown by a hermit who spends 10 years in isolation away from everybody else.
and why did i not know about this????? i wanna watch it. and this is a random question, but on the description on the side, it says there were other movies like this, such as Paris Je T'Aime and New York Stories. well, they've done New York once, so why are they making another one, New York I Love You?
I saw this movie Thursday, it's actually three short films. Its amazing. A film to see for sure. Nothing like trailer. The trailer just clips the real stories. Fantastic!

Watched it the other on DVD and was blown away by each story, particularly Gondry's and the Merde story. Lots of awesome special features on DVD too.
