  • thats cool

  • That is actual BL Bennet in the left seat and Ian (cannot remember his last name) in the right seat flying the plane. Thanks for commenting! - Chris

  • Looks like Capt.Dale Roberts and Capt Sam Robinson...TN-014,i used to be a cadet with that squadron :)

  • hahahhaa why did he do that?

  • Having another person reach over my arm to turn the transponder off, while I was on short final would freak me out :) I would probably slap their hand...lol

Nice they do it in a 182, then you can get your high performance signoff.

  • is this US army aviation plane?

  • This is actually a Civil Air Patrol plane. The CAP is the Air Force Auxiliary responsible for search and rescue within the United States. It is an all volunteer non-profit civilian service with 56,000 members and 530 aircraft.

  • For my 18th birthday, my parents put me through flying lessons. Im nineteen now, and fully certified. This was the plane I learned on, and it is a real joy to fly.

  • what is the difference between a Cessna 172 and a Cessna 182??? please reply

  • The 182 is slightly larger, more powerful, carries more fuel, is more stable, slightly better performance (speed, range, altitude, climb, etc.), and has a more efficient, variable-pitch prop, making it a little more complex aircraft to fly.

  • Yep, I can still feel that feeling of being in the ground effect just before touchdown... awsome

  • You know what's awsome? Cadets can now train in the 182! I was so happy when I found that out last meeting. Glass cokpit baby!
