Rachel Alexandra didn't win the filly triple crown. I know every race she entered and she didn't win that. She won the Kentucky Oaks and the Preakness to name a few but not the filly triple crown.
ruffian didnt lose the match race....... she was in the lead when she went down, she even still tried to run, she had never been passed on the track and she kept fighting her jockey to run and she won for a while, and everyone knew that once ruffian was infront you never got by her,,,
