The games is fun as hell. The marine campaign is more focused on the shooting and just trying to stay alive while you try to take out the Xenos and Predators. The Alien campaign is freaking fun. You are A) an exceedingly agile and fast bastard B) all your attacks are melee so stealth is key which is a delightful element. The Predator is a mix between the two. Stealthy, but you can also take and dishout attacks well. If you like the universe the game is a must.

the co op in the game sounds the most hardcore ive heard in my years of gaming

just so you are aware there wont be any Co-op in the campaign, only in survival mode.

In the PC Versions, the campaigns were never very long, but they said they will most likely be about 7hours each campaign, which is a lot compared to how long they used to be. Campaign is fun though i remember playing the Alien campaign so many times heh.

Btw. I guess this will be the first game that will make full use of dx11, though Call Of Pripyat made good use of it too...

Steam will be handling the online play ...so no free servers sadly. +the aliens dont seem to be able to attack from the walls/ceiling or be able to pounce. -sad times.

I'll have to play alien last I guess. ...Survivor mode will probs' be my big thing. 8)

Anyone think there's a 'best' platform for this?

@temporaldisplacement PC for graphics, Xbox 360 for the online community. Also, the Aliens CAN pounce and they CAN attack from walls and ceilings, as well as drop from any height silently....i CANNOT wait for this game

OMFG! YESsss!! Screw it, I'll get it on PC, I've got more than enough of everything except RAM @tm. One more question though ...do you know if the 'trophy' action can be done from wall-sticking ...I wanna hide in the bottom of a vertical crawlspace, stay still (camp) hidden from the motion trackers & grab someones head 'n' drag them up for a fear-factor kill. Mwah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!! XD

@temporaldisplacement Ummm....yes actually, there's a video on here somewhere that shows a mission from the Alien campaign and in the video he is on the ceiling and a Marine walks by and it says press square to stealth kill, so he presses it of course, and the alien drops down, trophy kills him, and then he jumps back on the ceiling. Very nice.
